Red Eye Pens??

Does anyone have any knowledge about red eye pens??? I purchased two different brands, haven't tried them yet and would love to hear your input about these pens. Do they work or does one brand work better than another? Thanks for any info. you can contribute....Cathy.

Since no one else has answered yet, I'll say something. :-)

I have a red eye pen that I bought from Wal-Mart about 3 years ago. I'm not sure of the brand, but I love it. It looks great on some pictures and not so great on others. I was afraid to try it at first, but got around that obstacle by getting duplicate pictures. I've found that it really helps some pictures. It doesn't put the eyes at exactly the color they need to be, but then again the people don't have devil eyes either. You can look at the picture without thinking this would have been a good picture except for.... Unless you're the one making the correction, you wouldn't know there had been a problem.

I haven't messed up any photos using the red eye pen. The only problem I've encountered is that you can create "beady" eyes when fixing some pictures. Overall, I really think the pen helps more than it hurts.

I bought Friskars brand and Zig brand and decided to just go ahead and try them both. I prefer the Zig. It was not as noticable to the naked eye...it has a very fine point so you have more control. You have to be very, very careful not to touch the pen to the skin colour as it will turn blue. I have to agree that anything has to be better than 'devil eye' I have since learned to use my red eye reduction.....that can be really challening when taking pictures of my 9 month old granddaughter. (hehe)

If youare that paranoid.. Crush a few cloves of garlic and let it ferment in a a bucket of water, strain, and spray around the parameter of your property, or on the plants themselves.. Or you could even grow garlic or any plant that deters deer around the parameter.. It worked wonders! I had a similar predicament.. I moved in and the former owners ha a cheap 3-4 foot fence.. Deer could crawl over it.. I bought 8 foot stakes and ran string along them to make a string fence,if you will.. Worked wonders and it was cheap! If you are still paranoid, you could place a line of string a few feet on the outside of your fence and the deer would have to jump that along with the 8 foot fence,making it impossible.. Unless it's rudolf who flys! But I agree, the biggest concern you have now, is the damn squirrels an birds.. Your next investment is some bird netting... Joe

Yes it is a really nice trumpet! Like You see this flower is still going, but the new one has a nice trumpet shape. I wonder that all the flowers bloom one by one at the stalk! Thats not common. I did think, Jewel is normally a double. For that i am a bit confused! My 2 other bulbs bring only double flowers. Best regards

Ellie - Has Autumn Jewels not performed well for you, or does it just look too much like others you have? Rita - The scapes on Purify My Heart got a lot taller after yesterday's rainstorms.
