I always use the 3-ring binders, as I find it easier to move pages if necessary. My sister did a couple w/posts, and likes the binders better too.

I like the 3 ring albums also. I tend to skip around a lot, working on a page from when the kids were smaller and then doing a page from a recent event. With the three ring album you can just put them in where they go without having to take out a lot of other pages to get it in the right place.

Three-ring is the way to go. Post-bound albums are an absolute pain to deal with.

I use post bound because I buy Creative Memories albums. Also, because I work chronologically, it's not a big deal for me to add pages in - they're always going into the back of the book. I'm only a few months behind (I'm up to Easter of this year) so I don't have any pages to tuck in the middle.

HOWEVER, if I was doing it out of order, I'd HATE this book. :)

Okay so I cheat! I use a three ring binder and then after I have all the pages together in order (or at least I think they are in order till I find another box or tin of photos stashed away in the closet, or find pictures behind other pictures in picture frames. Hate that! LOL) then I put them in post bound albums. My other complaint about post bound albums is the pages don't always lay flat, I guess due to the many varing sizes of paper, that is supposedly the same size. Any clues on how to stop this, short of measuring each page? Most of the post bound albums though usually have much prettier covers, than the 3 ring binders, which is why I change into a post album when I am finished. I don't like the strap albums at all mostly due to the fact that I am brain dead when trying to figure out how to insert the pages. Penny

I use the Creative Memories albums and love them! I don't find them difficult to add to at all...but they really are far too expensive thats for sure! What are post bound albums??

Post bound albums have metal post sticking through to hold the pages and then they have a screw type thing on the back side of the album cover that connects the two sides of the covers together, holding the pages inside. Penny

Ok - I use strap hinge, not post bound. I have no idea what made me type it as post bound. All of my albums are Creative Memories.

Guess I had a brain fart that day. :)

LOL Patti..my brain was farting too! I was reading your post, and saw that you used CM albums also. I was thinking "but MINE isn't a post bound album I don't think..but this girl seems to know what she's talking about!" LOL
