Hmmmmmmmm...the ones I use the most are: maple leaf, oak leaf, elm leaf ( Can you tell that Fall is my favourite time of year?? LOL) I use the teddy bear a lot in the winter months, use white paper and cut off the ears and it becomes a snowman. I use the star and swirl a lot. Ones I don't use often are the baseball player, easter egg..(can't think of the rest, and am too pooped to go look!! LOL) also use the frog and butterfly quite often too.

gosh you are wanting my top 5???? i dont think i even own 5 punches i have never been a big fan of em myself i do use the corner rounder quite often i dont know if that is considered a punch or not though the only other one i use (and i just bought it ) is the daisy one but that is only because i am having daisies as the main flowers in my wedding (they are my favorite flower) and i am using the punch a lot in my wedding /engagment album.

Hmmm. I use the swirl a lot, and my border punches. I think other than that it's just basic shapes - circle, heart, triangle, etc. For instance, I used the circle with a mini star behind it to make blueberries because I couldn't find blueberry stickers. I used the triangle to make a candy corn in place of the letter A in a title. Stuff like that.

I've only used my angel once (and that was because my title was "snow angel"). I don't think I"ve ever used the musical note. And the minis are pretty tough to use - so hard to handle!!

I do have to say that although I use my swirl a lot, I don't feel comfortable with it because I've already had 1 swirl punch break on me. I'm afraid it's going to happen with my new one. I was pretty ticked that it happened to begin with. But that's another story all together. :)

I am too on my 2nd swirl punch. I only had it for about a week and it broke on me, I couldn't believe it. I am hoping that this one will do much better. I like to use my large square punch and then put my sticker letters in the middle. I have about 34 punches and a couple punch books that I just love and couldn't live without because it shows you all the different things you can do with punches. I am just starting out with scrapbookin (about a month now) so I depend on all of you all to get good ideas from. I'm not very good right now but hope to get better. Rhonda

I'm also on my 2nd swirl punch! One site that sells punched pieces says that they will no longer sell swirl punchies because they cannot be punched in large numbers. I use swirl, daisy, sun, feet, and circle the most. Has anyone tried the new EK Success paper shapers? They are awesome! Much easier on your hands.

Hi, I'm new to scrapbooking (just started my first one a week or so ago). I'm still learning, and buying supplies. I bought my first punches yesterday, at my local Michael's store. I was looking for a swirl punch, but, after reading all of your experiences with them, now I'm not so sure. They don't have one at my local store, so I had looked on the Net for some sites to order from. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to order punches from, good or bad experiences in the past? Thanks so much, I am learning so much from this site and others (have not taken a class).

I am not a big fan of the traditional shape punch, but I LOVE my corner punches. I usually use them on a frame of colored paper in back on my photo or on paper for journaling. They are kind of hard to find. I ordered a set of 5 from QVC (green set, not red) and I've picked up a few more here and there.
