Yes, I'm with Ladychroe, chances are those bulbs that were so inexpensive are results of forcing and they don't want to hold them over. If they are true bulbs and have been used, chances are they wont do a thing in your garden. And this is so true....you only get what you pay for....so anytime you run across the deal that cant be believed.......don't believe it...save your 50¢ and put it toward good bulbs that will make you wish you had bought more. Anytime a store wishes to put bulbs or things on sale like this, why not ask them to comment on what they are about. Are these bulbs guaranteed to grow--to bloom. These are spring flowering bulbs and as such, if planted at this time, will probably end up squirrel fodder. Before next fall when they should be planted, according to the weather that promotes roots, bulbs in the ground now without roots will rot in no time. As the squirrels and others find them, they can also ring the dinner bell for other plants and bulbs.

Hello list members, I am distressed to read of the difficulties that some of you have had with our seeds for the current season. I can only apologise for this, there can be no excuses. We do make it our policy to be as generous with our seed count as seasonal circumstances permit and the fact that some of you received only the stated amount per packet may perhaps be attributable to poor seed yield of some of our varieties for this year, however, the year wasn't quite as grim as all that and you may be assured that in the future seeds counts will be a little more fullsome. Our warm/moist seed treatments reamin as ever but I am troubled to discover that the packets contained little or no sterilised media, this can in effect undo the treatment process and again I apologise, it will change! I invite all who may feel aggrieved by our product for this year to write to me personally at hortus@southcom.com.au so that we may discuss your problems and set it right. Lynn,I checked eBay and the F & F site and didn't see your bowl. It must be an older pattern. Sure is pretty and I think you got a great deal on it.
