The wisteria was planted there in 2001. The blooms only last about a week or so - they usually finish by June 1. It was late to flower this year, probably because of the cold so I'm not sure if it might last a bit longer this year. The young Japanese wisteria tree though is just getting ready to bloom - this is its second year to bloom (planted in 2007) so it'll take over the show. The Chinese one does a smaller secondary bloom in July triggered by pruning the new foliage growth that is emerging now.

Great pics and my favorite is the white moss rose. The spider web one is very interesting, too.

No rain last night, but got an inch on Saturday and it just started pouring here in Austin a few minutes ago. I'm getting spoiled with all this rain as I only have had to water a few things in pots every few days, and I've only had the sprinkler system on once this year. Happy for the smaller water bill so far this year!

I think you are having a great season. I really like the double seedling. As a rule I don't like off whites, but with the plant in the background (yarrow?) it makes a good combination. I like Bisque too because of it's large flat face, and your garden shots toward the end are lovely.... We got quite a downpour Sunday evening. That means I don't have to water tomorrow.
