I was going to suggest Birthday Party for Papa Bear and use bears on the page, but only if the children in the pictures are small. Or...have some silly theme at the party(is it over already?) and incorporate the party theme into the pages. Like a jungle theme and have the caption Jungle Bob Uncovers Birthday Treasures...maybe I need to get back into bed.

Thanks for the suggestions, Jill. The page is finished (except for the journaling) but I can certainly use your ideas for some of my catch-up scrapping from years gone by. I was mainly curious about how to refer to my hubby in the pics....as "dad" or with his name. I guess the same is true for referring to myself. For instance on a collage page, should I say "My favorite pictures" or "Mom's favorite pictures" or "Anne's favorite pictures"....the possibilities are endless!!!!!

I got back and forth on this one, so I think it will be obvious to anyone reading in the future that "Mom" is also "Katherine." I tend to refer to everyone in the pictures by their relationship to my children at least some of the time (I use "Aunt," "Uncle," "cousin," etc. a lot in my journaling). I also put the kids' ages in fairly frequently, and always with the Christmas photos.

For your particular situation, I would let the pictures decide for you. Is it a family party with lots of pictures of Dad and the kids? Then call it "Dad's Birthday Party." But if its more Bob, you and your friends, then go with his name.
