Desperate for help

Just found out the boss is leaving us to go to Miami. Everyone suggested that I do a scrapbook for him.I have made several family ones and one for a co-worker before but not THE BOSS. Help what can I do. He is leaving us on May 26th. Any help would really be appreciated. Any sites out there that you know of would be of great help too. TIA

How about a picture of each person in the office/department and a note from them. Also see if people have any pictures taken over the years at office functions. You could also get everyone together for a group shot maybe holding a banner saying goodbye or good luck.
Good luck to you - you don't have much time!

Barbara, since you are making him a scrapbook I am assuming that he is a well liked boss. You could collect pictures that have been taken in the office with your boss or various employees. You could have the employees each write down a little something on a note card and make several pages of well wishes.....maybe including a picture each employee beside their note. You could make a page of funny or special things that have happened around the office. That's all I can think of right now. Wish I could be of more help.
I am sure it will turn out great!

How good is your hubby at DIY? Herringbone on a vertical surface might not be the easiest DIY project. I would avoid the mosaic strip, it will make the shower look dated.

Keep it the light color that it is. Dark, can sun fade, but, it can also make your house hotter inside and increase the cost of your cooling. If it really needs paint, repaint the color you already have, and the white trim looks good too.

Painters here / desperate for help w ext for 1902 Italianate! (PICS!)

@18florence, found a interesting article on Italianate homes. Here is a description of paint tones used on exterior: Italianate houses, of course, were meant to evoke the stone construction of Italy; thus buff and straw stone colors are a good choice for exterior color. Bisque-color limestone, grey-green, and stoney grey to blue colors are appropriate. If the body color is light, do the trim darker: olive, drab, mahogany red-brown. If the body is dark, trim may be done in limestone-yellow or limestone-grey. Sash should be painted in a dark color. The front door was often varnished, not painted. Accent colors or a reversal of body and trim are popular on projecting bays. I can't copy photo, but take a look at #2: https://reneerenovates.com/2022/03/26/my-top-5-green-exterior-paint-colors-by-benjamin-moore-and-what-i-chose/ I did it: Found the exterior colors on another link.

Thanks Carrie and Hilary. Started taking pictures today and went out yesterday to get the scrapbook album. You were both a great help in getting me started on this. I'll let you know how I make out. Thanks again!!!

Have everyone in the office help. Hand out pages and supplies during luch breaks and let each person do their own page for the boss. It lessens the work for you too.
