friend argues with girlfriend
Comments (3)It is your business because they are doing it in your home. You do not like their behavior so put a stop to it or don't invite them over anymore. If you are as friendly with him as you say you are, then tell him in language he will understand. Tell him in the way that he talks to his girlfriend. Be blunt. Don't sugar coat it. It doesn't come off as "control your woman" talk. It is "your constant arguing is sucking all the fun out of the room", STOP IT or else. NancyLouise...See MoreDo you ever argue with your cabinets? Comments (47)What is it about bunnies?! They're just too cute. : ) Rebunky, I've been doing image searches galore, and I did not see that image. Thank you for posting it! I do like the black hood in that image. And the island. : ) We have the drawers for the cabinet under the cooktop, but DH had them removed when I took the photo. He's got the Eastlake piece framed already. He would have probably hung the hood and cover yesterday, but our countertops came in Tuesday afternoon, so he spent the whole day yesterday on getting those ready to install instead! I should have a working sink and cooktop today-hooray!!!! I don't know what type of glass door is coming in for our corner cabinet. Isn't that crazy? The guy that ordered them for us hasn't had any come in in our line of cabinets yet, and they weren't pictured in the catalog. So, we all get to be surprised. : P I picked up some (more) paint cards at the home stores a few nights ago. I was going to get sample pots of paint at Lowes or Home Depot, but Ace Hardware has got theirs on sale for $.99 this week, so I'll get them there instead. I've got a few blacks I'm looking at, as well as a dark bluish green, and a golden cream that I'm considering for the hutch. I wish you the best with your backsplash! I don't think that's an easy decision. We looked through wall tiles on our shopping trip, and very few "spoke" to us. I would definitely need to take lots of breaks and think about other people's kitchens in the decision making process, too. LOL...See Moredo you get your money back if the inspector gets it wrong?
Comments (62)I've attended all THREE inspections. tete-a-tete seemed only to ask about the original inspection and I answered that. However, I do think I am answering in a straightforward way, so let's chalk it up to speaking in "different" languages as to why we don't agree ;) Yes, there were issues with HVAC. I don't need to explain what but enough that I wanted a specialist to check the entire system. They knew that. I really don't understand the first degree of my mindset? I keep reading the most expensive investment, you should make sure it's protected by having an inspection and attend it... and then accused of being nitpicky doesn't make sense. Which am I? Negligent or worried to death? To answer the next question, I had the general inspector come back a second time and make sure they fixed the things they fixed which needed meters to check because A) I don't have meters and B) they supplied a general "we fixed all your concerns" letter and didn't state anything specific. It came across as trust us , and I just didn't trust the plumbing pressure (the hot water heater had no outlet pipe for instance?! what the?!) had been turned down, or that fuses were wired correctly after having been done incorrectly (different company than the HVAC group) before....See MoreScammers!!!!....sent entirely wrong item .Wrong item sent...cheap sub
