"Looks like the hole that originally was leaking?" yes, the leak was right above this screw... i'm starting to think the guy probably stripped the screw and put some thread lock or something similar on it and just screwed it back in there. after i realized it was stripped i pulled it out and it had what looked like some really lightweight aluminum or aluminum-like substance wrapped in the grooves of the bolt. this of course could be aluminum but seemed to be a little too brittle for engine aluminum. again, this is just a guess. "Now do me a favor and email me what camera you used for the pictures and how you got them from the camera into your post. I think you have my email address." sure thing! i'd be glad to Walt. the camera is a Fuji e510 5 megapixel digital camera that i've been happy with... they should be quite affordable now as i got it for $150 or so after rebate almost a year ago. i'll get that email to you in a bit.

Gosh I hope not Rina. The first time i was in Canada was in Toronto. Drove through from New York and there was a riot that broke out. By the stadium or sports arena..whatever you guys call it. I think there was a game going on (obviously) lol, but that's when i really learned how seriously some take football! I think it was in the 70's...or maybe the 60's? i don't remember anymore lol.

I'm on a laptop ..I don't own a cell phone people nowadays are just to "busy" their like pod people everywhere you look someone is using one..anyway I took the aeonium out of the soil and washed the roots off and pulled any dead roots I saw off it has lots of lil white roots (Dear God I hope that's a good sign) and it doesn't smell funky and the stem all the way down to the root system is strong and sturdy there was some dark coloration near the bottom of the stem but I rub it with a q-tip and it cleaned up.. Thanks Rina i'll try Houzz Photos maybe that will work for me.. Nope still nada no pic =( It worked one time and then when I tried to change the pic (I uploaded the wrong one) it wouldn't let me ..darn.. Should I spray the roots with an organic fungicide before I repot the plant just to be safe?

@Dave LOL - you are right I totally messed this up this year - LOL @ multiple post - yeah I can get annoying sometimes.. Unfortunately, this trip is a must - been planning it for over a year for my mother's 60th birthday. It's just at the time I didn't realize how much I would enjoy gardening (which I started AFTER I already booked the entire trip... yeah >____< ). I definitely am aware there are no such things as guarantees. Last year my dad and brothers told me I was wasting my time gardening because it would weed out - I had so much harvest I was donating it. Eitherway you're right - it's a learning experience.. this year I'm trying many different varieties, I'm making trellises/cages, tilling soil, etc etc - it's fun that's how one improves and next year will be different. I guess I'll just bite the bullet and plant them outside . The all time low during my trip is 39 on Sat+Sun. There are "chances of rain showers" - so spring burst rain. I plan on planting my eggplants/peppers a little deeper, my beans/pea plants are BIG and angry and my tomatoes are bushy and short... I may post pictures on this forum after work to see how people feel about their current condition (not sure why I'm doing this... probably like you said earlier... hope + looking for a way out).
