Thanks MM, OA, Luvs, and Jeanne for the nice comments. Milosmom, I hope you will look for transferware as there are so many patterns and colors it's amazing. I have a few small sets as well as lots of odd pieces. I buy single pieces often as it mixes well. OA, IKWYM as I am so looking forward to yard sales but since I don't need anything and have no more available storage space I really have to cull soon and buy very selectively. Luvs, when I was doing this I thot how fun it would be to work in a museum and set up displays of old things. Jeanne, the table linens had me stumped at first as none of my 'real' linens seemed suitable. I really should make some different things but need to get my craft room finished before I do so. I think I may buy more of the dollar store bandanas for tablesettings then I won't have to use the dog's! :-D We don't use much milk so the powdered works well for making bread, etc. We only buy 'real' milk when we have company altho the powdered must come from someone's dairy! Actually the thot of drinking it makes me gag! :-( My DH does have a sense of humor, otherwise he couldn't have survived 44 years with me! And vise versa too probably. ;-) I think he was quite amused to see what I was up to today! He said "whatever makes you happy" but in 'man-speak' I think that means he wondered if I should be committed! LOL The cat is a keeper too, he adopted us and we couldn't refuse! He also wondered what I was doing but is too lazy to move from his cushion! I'll have to clear this 'scape away tomorrow and try something different. I have so many ideas from all of you for tablescapes! I can see this could be a bit addicting! LOL

Too many mixed messages coming through here.

Just picked this up. It's pink with a white center. Height listed on the box is 24", which would make it a pretty short asiatic. But a very useful height for the foreground. Googling it to copy its information onto my computer file, I see it listed as a LA lily at Brent & Becky's Bulbs, not an asiatic. Height listed as 30 to 36." A few other sites list it as an asiatic. I had wanted this to plant in front of a grouping of Orienpets and an LA. Partly to start the season with a similar color and earlier bloom time, also for the shorter height. FWIW, all my LA's (I only have a few) are quite tall, way more than 36": more like 5 feet (60"). Whether this kind of height is typical for LA's I do not know. Before I plant this, does anyone know if it is really an asiatic or an LA? When does it bloom for you, with relation to your other lilies? Thanks.

I have been desperately trying to get my computer to connect to the website. It is not working... :( I would love if you had any organic herbal seeds, like the comfrey I saw you posted about. I believe in plant medicine, so trying to find good seeds are hard for me. Any seeds you could spare would be a dream for my very small courtyard garden. :) I REALLY hope the website would be working right now..........
