These do eat plants when their numbers are high. They do. There should be no debating this. If anyone doesn't believe it, they haven't had an infestation of pill bugs and don't really have the experience to help someone regarding. I cannot grow legume or peas without killing these bugs in the area or they will take down every one of the healthy seedlings. I drench the soil in the area with liquid spinosad. Once the plant is established, it's good. I gotta eat, too. I read somewhere that pill bugs remove metals and is likely to remove some toxins in the soil. I'm still trying to figure why I have so many and what purpose they are serving beyond the normal "eat decaying matter".

UPDATE: Just got back from vet, and we DID have the wrong medicine. Totally wrong! Instead of 10 mg pred, it was 10 mg enalapril (Enacard), which is for heart failure in dogs. It was causing her nausea, lack of appetite and weakness, while at the same time doing nothing for her back pain! (Thank goodness we decided to research this when we had doubts. It was exactly what we suspected from looking at the pictures of pills online.) Anyway, we probably should have been more upset, but we are so relieved right now to have figured out what was going on and to get her started on the right thing! Meanwhile, I hope someone's dog who actually has heart failure isn't dead now after taking prednisone for three days. (The vet actually commented on this and said they would have to check who else was there that day!) Anyway, thanks for your comments and concern.

I purged the garage 3 times last year. Yup, you read it correctly. 3 times. So yes my garage is tidy. Not pretty but floor is clear, no more holes in the now painted walls and I know where everything is. I doubt 2 cars can fit, it's a small 2 car garage with an 8' extension for the laundry area. Lost most of the stuff in the rafters first time around and a lot of actual junk like empty containers that needed to go to hazardous waste disposal. Second time got rid of a shelving unit to make room for my trike to hang on the wall. Floor was clear, a car could fit but more to do as things that couldn't be shelved were slotted between shelving units which reduced parking width by a couple feet. Third time I really got into it. Repaired and painted the walls. One wall has stuff hanging against it to save floor space. Facing wall looks like I bought things to fit the space with nice shelving lining wall and trike and mower hung under the window. I put shelves up near the rafters to accommodate the stuff that had been on the last of the rickety shelving. There's a real work bench with an easily washed surface opposite the washer and the last file cabinet was emptied of papers and is now pantry storage. I could have easily put everything back into the garage at that point but chose to get rid of those what if, old hobby and haven't been used for umpteen year things.

We started my father on CVS pill packets right before the pandemic. My mother had been managing his medication but was becoming increasingly confused and mix ups were starting. She did not want her meds delivered this way, so she continued without the pill packets. The biggest problem we saw was related to the 30 day delivery. If a new short term med such as an antibiotic was added, it could not be included. My dad is also on a blood thinner and the dosage changes due to lab levels, so these weren't included either. My mother did get used to using the pill packets for him, but got confused and forgetful about the meds that weren't included. When we were looking at assisted living one facility said they used a pill packaging service through Louis & Clark Pharmacy. This pharmacy delivers the packets every week, so medication changes were better managed. I'm not sure if Louis & Clark is a regional pharmacy, but you might consider checking local pharmacies as legomom23 suggested. Good luck!
