Wallie Swap. I just did this on another message board and it was a lot of fun. For those that don't know what Wallies are these are cut out designs that they use in home decor, ie:, wall borders, decorating craft items etc. You can visit thier web site below to view all the great selections and can also purchase from there. Also, Michaels, JoAnn fabrics, Hobby Lobby some Walmarts and LSS also carry them and they are cheaper 8.99 for a pack of 25. This is how it would work;

1. group of 7 (includes me)

2. purchase a pack of Wallies, I will keep a tally of who has what so we don't have duplicates.

3. you keep 4 of the Wallies and send me the remaining 21

4. I will divide the Wallies between the 7 of us, each person will receive 3 wallies of each design

After a show of interest (the first 6 people) I will post more information.

I would be willing to trade some with you but I don't have wallies locally, but I could cut out some designs from the wall paper I have on hand. ( I have a TON of it, since I live next to a wall paper outlet. LOL Let me know. I am thinking that most of the designs I have would be mostly floral styles. Penny

Does this mean that wallpaper is safe to use in your scrapbooks or do you need to treat them some way first to make them safe?

I am not sure how many will fit in a box. Just a couple for a flat rate I am sure. They are terribly expensive to purchase so the savings is very good. They proliferate here in Alaska. I personally will be bringing 15 or 20 down to the New Mexico house. I have 2 1/2 acres that are barren. You decide on the amount of postage that you want to spend and I will send you all that you would like. I will send them just before leaving here for the winter. That will be the middle of August. I'd like Madame Oger please :-) I can trade cuttings of several antique roses,I have a lovely Bourbon (my favorite) Deuil de Dr. Reynaud plus Madame Cochet (monster), Tamora and Climbing Pinky. I'm 40 minutes south of Sarasota so have to plan ahead for the trade this summer. I'm terrible at rooting rose cuttings but 50/50 at grafting so that's my best bet. Do you root roses? How do you do it? I also have lemon basil, seeds and seedlings started. imagardener2 at comcast dot net.

Betsy,

The wallies are not acid free, therefore, you have to treat them or do not put them directly next to or on top of pictures. HTH
