If the issue is low light, then a bright fluorescent will certainly help some, but for such a large plant I don't think it will be enough. I prefer to use one of those floor lamps that are used to treat seasonal affective disorder. They seem to throw bright light out there very well. And if I get "blue" in the winter, I can try to take in some light as well! Where was the plant before it started to suffer? Was it moved from a brighter location? Usually when my leaf tips turn brown it's low humidity, but that would be nearly impossible this season in SC. Is it too dry? Or are you watering with softened water?

I don't know what a "snap pack" is - I'm guessing it is one of those sticker-heavy 300 pc all-in-one scrapbooking kits where you punch out frames and stuff. One option would be to make your own snap pack (or whatever). For a small project like this, you can pick out a single product line at your local scrapbooking store. You can mix and match, too - but sometimes I find it easier to have someone tell me what cardstock matches what patterned paper matches what embellishments and fonts. I'd stick to a couple of colors and a couple of page designs and you can mix and match while making the whole book look uniform. With small albums, you can start with 8.5x11 paper and actually print all of your titles and such from your computer and then just trim down to 8x8 or 7x7. Another idea would be to use a pocket album. Creative Memories seems to be promoting this. I haven't tried it, but you basically can trim down pictures and decoratively mat them, make little pocket sized pages for your titles and journaling and then just slide whole photos into the others. Seems pretty quick and easy. My third suggestion would be to use one of the online photo printing sites that sell the custom bound memory books (like snapfish, etc). Wherever you usually get your prints made probably has one of these. They have the pages already coordinated and laid out, you just need to upload pics and type in your text. YIKES!! (LOL) Where to start! :) I love the old fashioned scrapbooks where things are glued in etc. But, with all the talk of acid in the papers and glues destroying the photos over time, I have opted for the Creative Memories albums and supplies. I think it would be wonderful to share ideas, pictures etc with everyone who is working on the same theme. It would also be great for everyone to post their favourite scrapbooking sites here. There are soooo many of them, that it would be nice to know which ones people have found useful. Creative Memories is an American company that sells (through home parties)Scrapbooking supplies. They are expensive but from my point of view, well worth the money. They sell different sizes of albums all with acid free, buffered pages, acid free photo mounting papers, adhesives, acid free stickers and die cuts for decorating your pages, and all the tools you could imagine...scissors, rulers, templates etc...does that help? Just thought, maybe I should introduce myself..I am in Ontario, Canada, have been scrapbooking for about 6 years, am a "retired" (ha ha) Creative Memories consultant, and am working on my 7th album. (Have two sons, 9 and 5) When I first started to scrapbook, I only used Creative Memories products and was careful what I put in my albums, making sure they were acid free etc. However, in the last little while, I have found that that really isn't my "style" I have started to add all kinds of things..pressed flowers, memorabilia, lots of things, that really remind me of the old fashioned type of scrapbooks. 200 Great Scrapbook Layout Ideas by Creative Concepts...I have 2 books, they are spiral bound (easy to fold and work from); each page is just sample sb pages (the 2nd book I got is good because it lists the supplies used for each page); it's layout is by category so it's easy to find ideas.....no words or articles, just many, many good ideas!!
