Merry Christmas everyone! We had a nice day no wind or rain but we just stayed home as folks didn't feel up to trip to bro's OK by me, I needed a rest & to just be lazy!! I just acquired 6 green bottles that will make great garden bugs so hope to get started on that soon,giving 2 to GF so we can have fun doing them together! Hope you all had a nice relaxing day with lots of leftovers to enjoy! DD brought a great salad over last night to go with roast I had fixed. Baby spinach leaves, cucumber, tomato, corn, pomegranate seeds, yes you can eat them, a little cottage cheese in it & some red lettuce, mixed with a new Giar---d dressing kind of sweet,very pretty & tasty, also supposed to have bits of bacon in it but since it had nitrates in it she didn't put it in. Don't know how to spell the name of dressing & should find out what it was called. Hope 2012 is a great year for everyone too! Jan

Good morning, exhausted elves... And now, let the detox begin. Too much food, too much sugar, too much butter, too much wine and egg nog, and too much love and good will. No, wait, you can't have too much of that. But I always know the reveling is done when all I want in the world is a big bowl of steamed broccoli and a cup of tea... Today, it is raining and gray here in central Virginia, there is nothing on the calendar and no one in the guest room, the coffee is in the thermos, the leftovers are waiting in the fridge, the kitchen is relatively clean, and DH and the kitties are snoozing under and on the comforter. Bliss.
