What I have been doing

Just thought I would post a few of the siggies I have been doing for several people lately. Only takes a fw minutes to put them together and I don't have to worry about filters etc! haha

Beautiful work Judy..
Do you find a nice animation and add the name to it, or do the whole thing yourself?
...Or maybe a little bit of both.......
(here is an example of the former)

You have been very busy with all that tree to remove. Did you get any rain today? We got almost 2 inches! WOW, haven't seen that much in a while. Now for the good stuff....I want Time Drifter...that's the prettiest pink dl I've seen in a long time. Just beautiful. So are the others, but I just keep going back to TD, I love it. BTW, thanks for posting your pic of SS on my thread. I sure hope she shapes up for me next season, or rather, colors up!! :) Thanks for the photos. Jan

Shirting is just wonderful to work with. It's so soft and smooth. I wish, like woven plaids, there were more of them in the stores these days. But this quilt is inspirational and fits right in with the theme of Bonnie Hunter's new book about gleaning fabric from recycled shirts. I hope this isn't a bit of a threadjack but, after all, I'm sure those Civil War era wives and sweethearts were saving and reusing every scrap they could. Here is a link that might be useful: Scraps and Shirttails

What a glorious harvest that you have! That's a huge tomato ... do the extra large ones like that taste as good as the regular-sized ones? Pictures just a tiny bit hung over the right edge ... but when I slid the slider across ... I got an ad ... so I only did it once. Last year I took a dozen or so ears of corn to the churches on one Sunday, and figured that there'd be a great harvest the next week. There were dozens of ears ... strewn on the ground ... with a bit chewed on each. I made the mistake of counting - 12 dozen! Corn out in tassel, this year ... should ask the landlord if he has a gun that I can borrow to cramp the coons' syle. Beans something of a disappointment - got a few two weeks ago, some last weekend, but noticed that there were few flowers, and not many ripening now. Last year I had large pickings for about three weeks. Maybe the lack of rain (after an overabundance in the spring) may be the main reason. Looks like a good crop of tomatoes coming. I may be fairly well preserved in body ... but not in the canning line ... but I freeze some beans, peas, etc. Oh - the peas were a disappointment - planted a fairly large number, but only about a half dozen plants deigned to make an appearance. Good wishes for a bountiful winter. ole joyful P.S. Jes wonderin' ... how many babboon's a$$es you son may have seen, for comparison purposes?? o j

They are called alphas(short for alphabets). Someone else makes each letter of the alphabet with different designs and then using PSP you put the letters together to spell your name. I've made hundreds of them so far.

Gary had a heart attack Thursday so we've been at the hospital until yesterday. He is home and doing good. They had to put 1 stent in an artery that was 99% plugged!!!!
I will see if I can find the link to the directions for making alphas.

Oh Judy,
I am so sorry about Gary, but I read on the "conversations'' area of the CHF that he is now home - hope that the stent will do it..
Don't worry about links and directions - you have more important things on your mind - you are both in my thoughts and prayers...
(((hugs)))
