Today I lightly raked it, seems to have helped the seedlings come up out of the dead grass that had smothered them after the rain flattened everything out. I also reseeded some areas, we could get lucky with the weather (although I don't think I'll get germination in 6 days like I did 2 weeks ago when the highs were 80).

SHe's a beauty! How could you wanna hurt a deer? Even though they taste pretty yummy, lol. Don't get me wrong, I am all for hunting, as long as you do it right, and are doing it for food. I guess I still like them cuz they don't eat my gardens, lol. Only had 1 in the yard here so far, and that was just a run thru. But ya gotta remember..the animals were here first..we are on THEIR land, invading THEIR homes. That subject alone really ticks me off..I dont even wanna get started. I'll never forget the 1st time my son saw a dead deer my brother got..that poor lil boy cried his eyes out when he realized it was dead. I dont even wanna talk about weather..grumble grumble..

stacey, my brother has a tiny, studio sized condo that used to be his office (now retired) that he is now in the process of remodeling into a functional living space as a back up to the boat where he currently resides. A Murphy bed is a prominent feature of the new design. The great thing about Murphy beds is that you would never know you had one unless it was pulled out for sleeping. When not in use, they just look like a built in storage unit!
