We celebrated my daughter's birthday tonight, and watched the video. I had no idea how quick the skydiving experience is! The video was well done, though, using flashbacks to make it longer. These pictures are stills taken from the video. I asked my daughter if she wore a helmet, and she said no. They pointed out that a helmet wouldn't do a lot of good if something went wrong skydiving. (Although I suppose one could fall during the landing.) My DD and her family always wear helmets when they ski or bike.

I'm also a member of the never say never group... But, after careful thought and consideration, I'll throw this list out there.... I will never enjoy family squabbles of any kind. Have been involved in a couple (none current thank heaven) and observed a few more and things like that upset me and make my stomach hurt. I will never enjoy hurting anyone in any way. I will never enjoy house cleaning. I know some people do and that's ok. I wish I was one of them. But, unfortunately, I clean only because cleaning needs to be done. I don't enjoy the process. At nearly 59 years of age, I will never give birth again. I think I can pretty safely say, at this point, that I will never bungi jump, or ski jump, or go deep sea diving. But, who knows?

Thank you Glenda, I appreciate the link & e-mailed it to our friends. If he goes thru with it I am sure his wife would go up to watch for $40. My husband & I will watch from the ground. I have not flown in years & am terrified of it! And thanks for the heads up about Bob Gibson's BBQ. Nice picture, glad they had fun!

Chisue, I was not completely truthful on the disclaimer when asked if I had shoulder or back trouble....only said I had some arthritis...but honestly, my joints did not seen to be affected.... there is a very strong force against your body, but no more painful than every other day. Go in and watch others doing it and decide for yourself if you want to try it...sure is fun and different than anything I had ever done before!

I was telling Vic about the pictures, and how the isntructor is attached to your back etc. He said he knew that as they could never allow someone to jump without tons of training.

There isn't a man alive, strong enough to push me out that door, so I figure no use going up and getting in all that gear. You are one brave, brave lady.
