meyermike_1micha Very much worth the wait :) Thanks lme5573, so being in the bedroom with the lights on them all day and well into the night won't help them~ got it. The only room that has "natural" light like you're talking about is mom & dad's room and it gets dark when the day is done, they just sleep in their bedroom, would be perfect. (we live in our room /sigh) Plus it is a lot cooler in there too. They have offered to put the plants in there, (only window that gets morning sunlight) but they have no room for them. This is only for the blooming stage of the plant? It won't do any harm as far as their health and growing NOT to do it? Because right at this moment, I don't know where to place them for that.. will need to find something tho. I'm just happy it has a new start!! As long as it wasn't dying, I am happy~~

And, as Shauna said, we don't have to limit our pictures to the gallery. Lots of times, we need to post some here to illustrate something - the nice curvey raised bed posted here today, for instance. Last year we started weekly picture threads and they got pretty picture-full! :) So hence the suggestion to keep these in the gallery. Had to laugh last year when we got these new areas. "Conversations" is supposed to be for non-gardening topics, but we all had one question - "IS there any topic other than gardening??" LOL

The quality of selections also matters. You can not make selections from pictures on a screen. They need to be made from actual physical samples. Or you will have issues with cold grays of Cararra marble clashing with warmer tones of the vanity, and tile. Combo units are never ever good options. Each element should be selected deliberately, and no by default of coming with a selection as if it is a bonus. It isn’t. Shopping disreputable online sellers is not likely to turn out well either.

If you can undo the paint on the stone, it would be a huge improvement. You should paint the house a color that allows for white trim. Presently, all the white on the windows fights with the thin, yellow trim. I'd remove the fence thing at the entry. It does nothing for curb appeal, I doubt it's useful. You have a lot of opportunity for improved curb appeal with landscaping. I'd remove the planter on the right corner and put in a small tree that will be taller than your house. That will soften the boxy lines. You want it slightly forward and far enough away that the mature size won't be a problem. I'd put a small palm in the semicircle garden. I'm no expert on what grows in your zone, but Elephant ears and Canna will bring an instant tropical vibe. They both come with plain green leaves, and can be bought at any nursery as a corm or tuber. Look up landscaping in Search Houzz. Pick your metro area from the drop-down menu at the top and choose photos. Here's one from Orlando (I guessed where you are).
