Hi all, Im sorry its taken me so long to get back here! Ive just been too busy to get this done! Im sorry I wont be able to make it to this swapbut there will always be another one! :-) Have fun on your trip, Charlene, and enjoy your "time on your own!" I think you deserve it! I was looking forward to seeing your yard and what has grown up of the things youve gotten at past swaps, but I guess by the next time I come to a swap at your house theyll be even bigger! I sure hope youve been able to keep the bunnies away from at least some of your stuff! On the day of the swap, I hope to be hiking a couple slot canyons in Grand-Staircase Escalante Natl. Monument called Peek-a-boo Gulch and Spooky Gulch! I was hoping to do them last year, but it was threatening rain, and its "unwise" to go into a canyon that gets as narrow as 18" and that was carved by running water, when it might rain! Keep your fingers crossed for me that Im able to do it this year! Since I wont be able to come, Im going to need somebody to take the plants Im getting ready. Ill need them picked up, hopefully by the 5th, but no later than the 6th for sure. Since theyre in small cups, whoever gets them will need to watch them for water for a few days before the swap. Im on the north end of Denver at 120th and Colorado Blvd. Its only about 2½ miles east of I25, so pretty easy to get to. If anybody can do this, please PM me, or email me if you have my address. Since I wont be coming to this one, I wont be keeping exact track of whos coming and such, but Ill just make this point hereeverybody be sure you "private message" Charlene thru her bio page to send her your email address so she can send you the directions youll need to get to her house on the day of the swap. Im sure shell post a message at some point with the people who still havent contacted her, but, remember, if she doesnt have your address, she cant email you the information! Hi skybird, Thank you for having the summer swap. It was a blast! I haven't read all the posts on part one yet (but I will). I wanted to make sure that I get on the fall swap list. I will be there! My problem right now is transportation. On June 1st.(my 63rd birthday) my son & I were t-boned by a 25 yr.old uninsured girl who ran a red light & hit us with the flatbed dually truck she was driving. All I remember was the impact and seeing my son hanging up above me as we were fliping over onto the passenger side of our truck. We were told later (by a couple of witness's) that our truck rolled onto the top...spun around a couple of times(like a break dancer)and then rolled back over & ended up laying on the drivers side pointed in the opposite direction! They helped my son out but the fireman put a blanket over me & broke out the windshield. Thats how I got out. Thank GOD & his angles! Of course my son's toyota truck was totaled! It gave it's life to save ours! We both have some medical problems but we'll be ok. Thank GOD again! I'll be better by Sept! Please put me on the fall swap list. I will be bringing some type of food not sure what yet tho. I will post my wish list when I read some more on part one. Thanks

I think Ima's idea of two personal facebook pages is likely the way to go. None of the child's business what is on your 'adult' page, but refusing to befriend because of this might set up hurt feelings. Actually it could be considered an 'honor' to be asked by the future SD. She wants to include you and her father in her 'social life'. You could upset up a page that is husband and you together (besides the individual pages) and just use the joint one for pics of your family events, shout outs to between you all blah blah. Keep it 'family' focused. You can still be you and do as you please on your individual one...no need to edit and/or be afraid to socialize as you please. Just kinda remind 'Dad' that if you/he can set up multi facebook accounts, it won't be long before SD learns how to too if she has a mind to. Hope her mother seriously keeps on eye on her. kids do stupid things and can be very naive even while thinking they are all grown up and know it all.

thank you for the lovely comments ladies :) the process of making these were really something else ... they were not difficult to make (you might not believe it and i cannot explain it perfectly) but the whole process too 2 days and i just wanted to go on and on, not wanting to stop because i was afraid that i might loose a thought or a moment. weird! but it felt so nice after each one's done. it's like i've done justice to the person who inspired it. i'm wondering if i can ever get into that zone again... silly me!
