Thought I would post a pic that I did back in the fall for a friend. She sent me a pic of her kitty and I had to have fun with it. I was trying to figure out how to mask, but never did and came up with my own way.

Yeah!!!! Theo, welcome home and I've missed you. Me, not at the party? LOL. I'm like a bad penny. Jo, that is sort of what happened at my house. It seems like the things I share with my hubby, or teach him at, he usually excels in and surpasses me. He did that with embroidery first. I taught him how to do counted cross stitch and it turned into a decade long hobby with work more intricate than I'd ever dream of touching. Likewise the bird watching. He is very astute at noticing those minute markings one usually overlooks when describing common-looking species like sparrows. Because of this diligence, we have been able to document and photograph some rare sightings when ten years ago, alls we would have known was they were sparrows. We do counts daily and keep logs on them. I do the transcribing, but he does the bones of the work, keeps the feeders filled, and like your husband is very specific about what goes in them. It is correct the suet preference can change because the species change who prefer suet and some lean toward nuts and some toward fruit and it's a time and season sensitive thing.

The craigslist adds with pictures are often hilarious. Surprised he bothered with conduit since he doesn't know how to install it (even if it is required in that location). Around my location a lot of the chucks in a truck finish basements with no or only 1 or 2 outlets. "Customer says they only need 2 plugs" The other day on an audio video job for a basement finish (homeowner said my "contractor" handles the electric) The geniuses were able to wire the microwave, counter receptacles, fridge, pendants and cans, all conveniently getting power from tapping into a keyless from the storage room. As the "contractor" told his helper, "Run that feed over to the light in the storage room where we'll rob power" Idiots like that drive me nuts and I'm supposed to keep my mouth shut cause I'm just doing the A/V (even though my business is really is electrical and I'm a master electrician). I'm about ready to call things I see like that into the city and bust the whole permit-less remodel. Then the "chuck" can run the 4-5 circuits he's supposed to run and redo all the other mistakes and spend an extra $1000 on what he put in his bid as $150 for electrical work.

Alex/Whirlpool.....Has German spelling finally gone back to Rolladen? When I lived in Germany, the new spelling came out with Rollladen! Most people were furious, and German polls showed that most refused to add the extra "l". LOL Rolladen are awesome!!! The last time we were in Munich a few years back, I surprisingly saw more home A/C units than I have ever seen...but it is still VERY rare in most of Europe! I do not really understand this....while Europe's HOT season is MUCH shorter than what we have in the USA, but when it is hot in Europe, it is awful (people literally die). I had an apartment that was 6 or 7 stories high in Dresden, and some days my Wohnung/apt. was over 30C :-O

I'll post mine from the "Stepping out" tutorial - I really need to take some photos of David so I can show of our son as well. I've never mastered masking either.

Sue, that looks like the same effect, too fun!

This one was a photoshop tutorial to learn to mask that I cannot find again! I think it was from the photoshop professionals website that my MIL and I subscribed to last year. My MIL likes to restore old photos.

I am hunting a "copy" of PSP so that I can start learning it. Right now, my concentrations are on my new website business that I am trying to get serious about. I have done enough free ones but was a great way to learn.

Rebecca, I say this a lot but I got a brand-new unregistered copy of PSP8 with Animation Shop on eBay for $29.99. You can't beat that. I've been on eBay for almost a decade so I was comfortable with it; and beforehand I watched auctions & sellers to see how much it went for on average, and to find the best seller.
