Printing both sides of paper

I hope this is the correct forum to ask. I have 48pgs to print and want to print pg2 on the back of the paper pg1 was printed on..and so forth. My printer knows how to do this, but I don't and the manual has no 'how to'(Canon MP450 btw). I don't understand the terms used or much more than how to print on one side. Help me if you savvy this task. Thank you.

if you search with the phrase "Canon MP450 manual" (sans quotes), you can download a manual.

Try this. Hold down the Ctrl key and press p key. The Print box shows. Click Properties. Then select the tab Page Setup. 2/3 down on next screen - select Duplex Printing. Then Go.

On HP printers, double sided printing is an optional feature. A printer may or may not be so equipped. Printers with double sided printing have an extra appendage attached to the backside of the printer. This is the page turn-over accessory. It must be present for double sided printing. A caveat: Double sided printing using the duplexer is considerable more slow than for regular printing. After printing the first side, the printer pauses for ink drying time (typically 5 seconds) before turing the page over and then printing the other side. Drying time is adjustable, but it should not be too short because wet ink can smear and may gunk up sensitive locations inside the printer. The fast way is to print the first side (odd numbered pages), and then print the even numbered pages. When doing the manual method, there is potential for messing up the job, therefore I recommend breaking the job up into no more than 10 sheets at a time (20 pages). This becomes important for a large number of pages.

Will this window get a lot of strong sunlight exposure? If yes, then I would choose a "traditional" ,solid, light color lining instead of having the printed fabric as the lining. On my bedroom drapery, I like to use "blackout lining" that makes the room darker (when drapes are closed). Also, it keeps the room cooler in hot weather, warmer in cold weather. Are you planning on opening and closing your curtains?

That TV is such a behemoth that it overwhelms the space. It's stealing all the attention and obscuring the pretty details of the molding above the fireplace. You'd need some pretty large elements on either side to balance it. Small art pieces would be lost and unable to compete with it. Or maybe it looks gigantic because your chairs are rather low and compact - if I were you, I'd look for large wingbacks and upholster them in a large-scale, high-contrast print. I've always heard it's a decorating no-no to put the TV above a fireplace, but in some spaces that *seems* like the only option. However, I am sure you have other options for its placement. It really shouldn't be where it is. Can you post some pics of the rest of the room?
