First, as always, my thanks to the Good Samaritans who responded to my thread. Second, I've come to learn that the correct lingo is "snaps" or "snap fasteners." Third, I've still not yet found what I need. But this is a great part due to the fact that I'm trying to get/buy just 2 sets of snaps since this is all I need. Fourth, the ideal situation will be to find a store that has snaps in open containers where I can simply go in and pick 2 sets, pay and leave.

Jasmin, I love your jacket. It has many memories tie to back home in CA. Summer, your helmet is really cute with butterflies. Nice colouring :) I remember spending leather jacket in the Malls in CA ( Wilson's). Around $600. But it last for a long, long time. For $525 dollars is not a bad price. I would have gotten that in a heartbeat . Thank goodness, I dont need jackets any more. I still have my old ones from CA which i wear rarely nowadays. Have you guys seen Melania Trump wearing a beautiful jacket this week ! Vap told me and I google up. I hope they are not passé! I still wear this fabulous Bonnie Kashin in the spring. It’s just the right weight. My mother wore it in the 1960s. I had the lining replaced, it had really deteriorated, and the tailor at the leather clothier loved it. Mom had had the sleeves shortened a bit. Sigh. I’m not sure what to do about that, the tailor had some suggestions but we agreed they wouldn’t enhance the jacket. I just make sure I’m not wearing long sleeves under it. Or maybe I should get some long gloves. hmm, it looks a little dumpy on the hanger, but trust me, it’s great and I get so many compliments when I wear it. It has a belt, but I don’t use it. I also have this pink coat of my mother’s. It’s actually got a very cute shape, with the kind of empire then A-line. But it‘s a bit snug in my shoulders and when I tried it on just now, I realize it’s really better on someone 20-40 years younger than I am.
