lol! I haven't seen "tana" leaves mentioned in a long time -- not since my equally mispent youth watching "The Mummy" and all of the sequels. Except for the questionable "landscaping" at some miniature golf parks and Las Vegas and Atlantic City casinos, I have not seen anything approximating "Egyptian." Definitely not in properties from the 1920s. My guess is that, with the discovery of King Tut's tomb, a fad ensued that was akin to the Japonesque fad that arose, as Ginny pointed out, with Adm. Perry's opening of Japan to Western commerse. It spawned all of those musicals and operas ("The Mikado," "Turandot," etc.) along with a home decor fad. Most of the activity seemed to be indoors, though, and not in the garden except for those who saw and fell in love with the true Japanese aesthetic beyond the kimonos and hairdos.

Hi Teri As you put the mice coming downwards unhide your reflected name as you go. On some mice your text will need to be merged as it has to show but on other mice you rehide the text BEFORE copying to AS - but you'd need to unhide it to check if you need it or not. With step 25 it means to delete any reflection text thats showing OUTSIDE of the mirror. By selecting the mouse/mirror layer before erasing on the text layer you can rub out all over the place without destroying your mice image. Just unselect before you copy those layers to AS. Hope this makes sense Sue :)

Hello Jan, I am not very good at explaining things, I just do them and hope for the best. I can only tell you what I did, I don't know if it is the correct way, but it seemed to work. Here goes If you are using the swans brush provided for your inset, all I did in PSP with my finished tut completed inset and all, selected the white filled inset, then appled the swimming swans. If you want to animate, make a copy of your inset, prepare your little animation on it. Put your completed tut. in animation shop along with your prepared animation, then I copied and pasted it on to the white inset, you have to be careful putting it in, getting it even. Cheated, but it worked. If I am barking up the wrong tree here, please ask again, I wasn't exactly sure what you meant. Hazel.
