Adds up fast!!But you got some really nice beads for your money so it was money well spent. I think the flower beads will be lovely in glass plates. If anyone likes a flower looking bead for center of flowers look for buttons or at TS check out strange little short jackets with 1 button or sweaters sometimes have flower buttons, more likely on the fancy jackets, velvets, brocades etc. so might be cheap this time of year & take buttons off & use them, works best if TS is having a sale.Old coats had flower buttons also as I got a large tin of buttons at a yard sale & it had several in it.If they are beige, white or some other dull color just paint over it with Patio paints! Would be pretty. I love the red beads & flat blue will be lovely on totem or something else. I drug in a palm tree thing I had to have LOL & after looking at it for months still can't decide what color it should be. 2 ft high x 2 ft wide metal painted a weird black green. Think it could use some of your jewels for some bling! Jan

Hi Juliet! I haven't grown or seen PALACE GARDEN BEAUTY, but I grow MAGIC AMETHYST. It is a great plant up here in Rhode Island, very hardy. I don't see the colors fade much at all in the afternoon. Hi-- all I just wanted to apoligize for not posting/ getting my package out on time and not communicating well. Tina - I'm so glad your DH is doing better! It's heartwarming to know that love like yours lives today. I vow to stay off the trades for a while as I think I've bitten off too much for me to chew for a while. My apoligies to snyder and gardeningmom - I've been sick with morning sickness, had to leave my job, when I signed up for the trade I thought it would be over by the time the trade began and as it turns out I'm one of the lucky 10-20% who have it for the duration of the pregnancy. Anyway, it's kind of thrown me for a loop along with all the normal chaos of life. I feel just awful for being a bad trader -- I did send -- but not like I normally would (on time, etc.) no more swaps for me for a while - as I don't like to keep you all waiting and wondering. Snyder thanks again for the wonderful package- I'm sorry for not acknowledging you publicly here on the board until just now. Thanks to all my gardening friends and please accept my apoligies for the lateness, and troubles communicating. Hope to trade with you all soon again - once life isn't so chaotic.

Hey Marcelo, My mag macro is tiny, around 18" tall. I got it from Woodlanders last fall. I didn't bother testing the hardiness, which shouldn't be a problem. Its leaves are already bigger than the 12' grandiflora's leaves right next to it. Much thinner, though, as you would expect. I think the leaves only came out a couple weeks ago or so. Some of the leaves on mine have a very unmagnolia appearance, almost as if impossibly crossed with a fig. Too early to tell what that means. It's a good thing I didn't plant it. I'm moving to Hmpton Roads this month.
