Hence I always aim to get aisle seating. Since my last flight, I now have a bad ankle. At any rate, due to my size and leg issues, it is impossible for me to sleep on planes. I suspect not even morphine would do it... i do try to sneak a leg into an edge of that aisle where it won't trip anyone, and drowse a bit, but that trolley (which needs the full aisle) comes by every 30 minutes! Lars, I think I may have gone to a different Bourbon Street location than you did! We were way up on 9th street where there is nothin' going on, but the dinner was indeed delicious. We all had seafood, I told DH to taste my sauce and memorize it so he could make it at home. He is pretty good at analyzing so I look forward to some Trout Pierre one day. I did see that Bourbon Street has another location more towards the active district, but I don't know why I chose the one further north. Anyway, we had a lovely (and long) stroll back along the river, got to chat up our sons on Pax (they went to a session on game localization, a subject that fascinates me). We have no car, that's what I like about San Antonio, you don't need one as a tourist, if you like to walk (and I do). Apparently you can even use the Jump Bikes to go to the missions further south! I don't think we will be doing that, maybe next time. DH wants to take the bus to the farmers market Saturday, we'll see. I want to hit more historical sites with him, but he wants fresh pecans.

Re the face masks: has anyone found what weight of fabric is needed? I have fabric languishing that I bought to make pillows with and never got around to it. Wonder if that would work? I also have a set of sheets that I bought, used once and didn’t like. They are 100% cotton. Wonder if I could use them? btw, I love that the CFO of Deaconess is also an accomplished stitcher! For some reason, professional women who have also mastered ”the feminine arts” make me want to cheer! Yes, we can be good in the boardroom AND we don’t have to turn into men to do it.
