Such pretty daylilies here. I can see why Dragon's Eye seems to be so popular, Destined to see is always a beauty. I love Dust be Diamonds & Dual Zone. That is such a shame Divine Comedy is so splotch, I really like that nice round shape. Here are my d's Delia O'Bryan Brown De Colores DAring Deception Dutch Art Dumortieri - this one isn't very fancy & is the usual yellow of the extra early ones, but it is SO early to bloom. I'll be seeing its blooms in mid to late April, & I'm really looking forward to it.

Thanks for trying to help with this one, Steve. Unfortunately I have paid it little attention. There are so many similar "green with white margins" that I have few pics of this one, and none with blossoms. I would describe this as medium green, not chartreuse. The pic I posted was probably taken in June (fresh mulch is the clue). I have Fragrant Bouquet and Fragrant Dream and this is not similar. I have never noticed fragrance from the blooms. This coming season, I will pay it some attention, and try to figure out the mystery. Steve (Evermore)

Here are some older tall beardeds. again, La Scala - Keppel, AM'12 Lace Artistry - Aitkins, HM'90 I love this peach-pink, in my top 5 fav pinks Lady Fire - Gibson'92, plicata Lady Friend - Ghio, AM'85 still a great garnet colored classic, difficult to find good combo color. Lasting Romance- Aitken'99 Legends of Fall - Sutton'99 Lemon Mist - Rudolph, AM'75 vigorous grower, very pastel Let's Dance - Nelson. HM'88 I thought this was the ugliest iris I'd ever seen. Now I love it. Different look everyday. Liason - Ghio, HM'88 much much nicer in person, standards are an ecru-like color and fall edge tinted lav. Lingering Love - Meek'86 This is one that appears pinker in sunlight.

Orange Harvest - Jones'88, RE down to zone 6 (I read). Orange Popsicle - Sutton'87, a subdued orange (bad angle, tho buds crowded) Not 'Orange Slices', MISLABELED!! (looks more like Penny Lane which I never ordered) (but I like). Orangutan Orange - Kasperek, AM'15, drop dead gorgeous, flower is small. Pagan Dance - Blyth'89, RE. (poor photo but color's accurate) Pagan Goddess - Miller, HM'97, loved even tho a 'delicate' color. Parisian Dawn - Keppel, HM'08, so excited to see in person but rather nondescript. Love these 2 colors together.
