Here's another easy one. It calls for #9 but I did it in 8.

That was an easy tag.
I don't know why she sticks so many needless steps in there?
I just follow her settings and paste my graphic on and type my text!
What's with this adding new layers, duplicating, and Xing out crap? "LOL"
That's the second tute of hers that had all those extra steps I omitted.

Dropped in to look at all of the great work you are all doing..This is really cute..went back and looked at all of the other things that have been done.
Urlee..I just loved the dancer with the music..Hope I can get myself motivated to do something soon, just haven't been in the right frame of mind, but always check on you all.

Great ideas everybody! I've always wanted to order the PawPaw rose labels, but I think they would be a pain in the butt for me. After cleaning out my beds over the last few months, I can see it would not be a good idea to have those wires to have to deal with. It's already a nightmare, raking the pine needles out from around the roses and perennials. I can see I'd be yanking up the labels, or getting the rake all tangled in them. That's a bummer. I really like the rock or tile ideas. I'm going to have to look into finding something along that line that will work for me. I do have my roses mapped out on paper and lists written up with locations, etc. But with as many as I have, and as crammed as they are.... sometimes I can't remember who is who when I'm actually out there looking around.... until they bloom anyways.

Kay, there is some metal tape you can buy at the hardware store that you write on with a regular pen and it makes an indention in the tape. I stick the tape onto the little metal sign markers that I used to write on with permanent pen. The permanent pen always faded before the season was over and I couldn't read them anyway. But I use the metal signs with the tape on them and it works well. So far my labels have been on them for two years and are still readable. A couple of them were not stuck on real well and water got under the tape and it came off. But most of them are still on tight. The other thing I do is maintain a schematic of my garden with diagrams of all the flower beds that shows what is planted in each location. It's kind of a pain if I have to move things or if something dies, I have to remember to change the diagram. But overall it helps a lot because I can't remember diddly anymore! Cheryl

Hey biondanonima! I rarely, if ever come over to this forum, but popped in a whim (bathrooms are next on our horizon!). I'd called Kerry to let him know I'd given out his name and number and he told me he'd spoken with you when he called back. Trust me when I say you will be much happier with his work than what I'm seeing here in your pics. He is extremely conscientious, and takes great pride in doing things the way they are supposed to be done (he's a second or third generation tile guy). You have to promise to email me and let me know how it all comes out (let me know if you post new pics here since, as I mentioned, I don't frequent this forum--yet!).

The TCNA standards that Mint Tile refers to will also address minimum acceptable mortar coverage for a wet area which is 95%. It appears spot bonding was used judging by the photo's which is never acceptable. The minimum 1/3 offset it also specified to minimize lippage on large format tiles. Large format is any tile with one edge over 15". The manufacturer often stamps this on the packaging. The Tile gallery designer may have steered you wrong and the installer is clearly not qualified. Keep in mind the manufacturer may say 50% offset is OK. That would take the designer off the hook but not the installer.
