window that leaks

We have a wall of windows in the family room. It is a 9 foot half round sitting directly on a bank of three windows. There is about 6 inches of drywall and then under the windows a set of three french doors. Norco is the brand. Here is the unit:

Last year we had the entire house and all the windows re caulked. We see no evidence any water is getting in around the exterior of the units. The caulking was first rate.

There is a small leak somewhere along the bottom of the bank of three individual windows. Visual inspection externally shows no cracks or bad caulking. They are vinyl wrapped windows, non moving, with wood trim interior. The leak occurs with heavy rain, a small drip appears along the bottom of the inside trim molding over the french doors. No water is visable anywhere else. The ledge these windows sit on the inside is dry. My understanding is that these are three individual vinyl wrapped windows sitting in a frame and can be removed if necessary.

We have experienced extreme cold this winter and the large glass units make a fair amount of noise on contraction and expansion. Our thought is something, a seal perhaps, has come loose on one of the bottom three windows and water is getting inside and coming out on top of the french doors. My husband plans to call in or remove himself the screwed on interior trim around these three windows to see if the problem is there. Hopefully this will be an obvious thing. Does this sound like the proper course of action?
