Papercrete Tutorial (Marly's) Re-posted

Yes Rockyn, there IS a lot of moisture left in the pulp! I like the texture of this stuff. Claire, I put the weather sealer on my papercrete but I don't know how long it lasts. I used a cheaper (Cheapskate me!! lol) sealer. I was told I might have to reseal once a year but I don't think you have to do that with the 'good stuff'. I have used my planter for two summers now and stored it inside over winter and it is just fine out in the rain still. I can't say about winter though. Not enough information out there about that! Guess we could start a data base on the papercrete right here! lol nmgirl - "You're welcome, you're welcome, you're welcome!" LOL Marly

So sorry not to have posted sooner. I had an outpatient procedure on Monday and got a pain shot in my back. I am not too pleased with the results yet. They say if it's going to help it will work within a few days so I don't know if this is going to help at all. I guess I shouldn't give up hope yet... For some reason it made me very tired. I almost never take a nap and took naps for several afternoons after the shot. Love the new pictures of Flat! Such creative poses. He certainly has had the trip of a lifetime. I promise to look over the names carefully this weekend and try to make sure everyone has been visited. Have a safe weekend! We are not up to much. It's my wedding anniversary on Mon. (41 years) so I suspect we will go out to eat that day. The middle of the day is already quite hot, so cooking on the grill is not sounding like a good idea. It's going to be a long summer of watering plants. Oh, I planted spaghetti squash this year - never had before - and those vines are really traveling! They might be in a neighboring state soon! I wonder if they will produce anything for me. All I've been able to pick so far are some peas - and the pea vines are about done in. They don't like this heat. Jeanne

You can see my picture of the Maltese puppy above. I continued to play with it, by adding spruce, gifts and snow picture tubes. When I was finished, I saved it to jpeg. It wasn't until I tried to email the picture to my sister that I realized the file size had grown to 612kb, with the additional picture tubes. Is this normal for a file size to increase with the addition of picture tubes or is there a step I missed? Until just recently, I used PSP 8 only for editing my pictures and knew little about the programs other functions such as layers, masks etc., so I hope my question doensn't sound too ridiculous. Judy

bmore: I am sure that is what made the difference. I have had a bag of the gluten for years , in the freezer, but since I rarely make breads with a significant amount of whole grain flour I never use it. I am glad to know it really does make a difference. Of course rhome uses it so that is a clear indicator that it works ! Your shaping is great. Uh...246 you are NOT allowed to post a pic like that and then no description/recipe ! Auto lyse means that you are allowing the flour to absorb that water before you start to knead. It is the same as letting your crepe batter set before using it...the flour particles swell during the 30 to 60 min. period. Also this allows you to see whether you are going to really need more flour during the kneading process and how much...usually very little which is another reason the bread comes out better. Now out with it ...what is that AMAZING dessert ???? c

elly,
You have to have a site to upload your midi to first.
Then use the code Mallory gave you.
That works for here but not on BestLawn's site.
