More stuff can be found at vjforums.com at the Inspiration thread (Gardenweb wont let me post the link). I found something similar to what Audric described, but it was shameless commerce by Samsung, and somebody did just the opposite and projected a helicopter on the cliffs of Dover. We (me and DH) were asked to project on a forest, as part of a performance, they asked if we could make the forest move... we had to say it was beyond our means both technologically and financially.

trouper, My guess -- and it is nothing but a guess -- is that by the time you would need a part for an Inax toilet purchased in 2011, you will have no difficulty finding them. At the present time, the American toilet market stands about where the American automobile market did in about 1960. There were lots of brands of foreign cars that you could buy: Austins and Triumphs and Rovers from England, Renaults and Peugeots from France, DKWs and Borgwards from Germany, DAFs and Panhards from the BeNeLux countries -- and the VW. But only the VW had mainstream acceptance. And, when in the mid-1960s, Toyota and Nissan (known on these shores as Datsun) made their move, American consumers, familiar with the problems in getting parts for exotic European cars, wondered, "Will I be able to get parts for a Toyota or Datsun?" Ten years later, when Honda was known primarily as a motorcycle company, consumers who liked the look of the new 1977 Honda Accord wondered, "But will I be able to get parts for it?" Toto stands in the American plumbing fixtures market in a similar position to that which VW occupied in the American auto market in 1960, the one brand of import that had (VW) or has (Toto) gone mainstream. Caroma, for instance, an Australian toilet import, has not achieved Toto-like status, and Duravit, for another example, has been around in Germany since 1817, but its American market penetration almost can be ignored. But Inax is huge company, involved not only in the plumbing fixture business, but also in building construction (Inax makes tiles and bricks), and it looks to be trying to launch a push into this market similar to the one that Toyota and Datsun made 50 years ago in the auto industry.

suzatwork, very sorry that I didn't respond...I have been without a computer / internet for a while. Your post was so long ago, this is probably useless information, now. The yellow paint is actually in the beige family, Lowes American Traditions (Valspar) Filoli Honey. I would never have picked it out of a samples line-up had I not seen it in person on my friend's dining room walls, because I was always hunting through the yellows. It's completely different on the wall, though. A nice warm color. nvmommy, the green is also Lowes American Traditions (Valspar), Homestead Resort Olive. Doesn't look so great under the cfl lighting we have at the basement stairwell, but it's beautiful under the GE reveal lighting and any version of natural light coming through the windows. snowey16, when we received the faucet, dh was impressed with it's heft / solid feeling build. However, he noted that there was a black plastic cylinder lining the channel where the faucet rests. After about a year of use, the channel chipped from the friction of the flexible metal tube sliding in and out when using the sprayer, which made the faucet a little wobbly when set in place. Cucina has a lifetime warranty, so we called and they immediately sent a replacement part. In order to replace it, though, the faucet had to be completely dismantled - not a big deal IF you have a handyman at home, which I do. About six months later, the lever, which had given us a solid and smooth operation up until that point, became a bear to move, then it stopped activating the water entirely (on the Friday evening of a holiday weekend). DH took it apart down to the bare bones and found that the joint inside was made of plastic, and had broken. Again, after making the call the following Tuesday (first open business day) Cucina sent new joints. DH requested that they send several. Given that it's made of plastic, and given that it takes about 5 business days to get the part (we received it the following Tuesday), if it happens again - AS MUCH FUN AS RENOVATION WAS - we much prefer the "running-water-in-the-kitchen, yay!" mode. So, let me say that at all the OTHER times, including now, I love my faucet. But it's easy to love because if it breaks again, I know Cucina will provide unlimited replacement parts, and I have a resident handyman who knows how to fix it. I like the way it works, and it's cosmetic uniqueness. People really do comment on it all the time. I do let them know that I am disappointed that for its cost, there was plastic hiding in such an important area. Hope this helps!

Before our recent remodel my house interior was Dover White, flat finish on walls and Dover White wood trim in semigloss. My downstairs floor plan is mostly open and I was happy with the combination. Dover White is a shade that will change throughout the day's light and it played well with all the colors in my furnishings. And it never looked too harsh, to me, during cold winter months, as some whites can. We replaced our natural maple stained cabinets with white (a creamy white cabinet manufacturer calls Buttercream) and we have light stone counters. I wanted a subtle color on my walls as contrast to all the white. We Chose BM Carrington Beige and I just love how it makes all my white trim and our mantel pop. It is a chameleon shade that reads greenish, at times. Other times it's warm with a subtle golden glow. The name "beige" IMO, is not very representative of this color. You may want to check it out in your search.
