Here is the link to the AVSA "Most Wanted" list which is on their site. http://www.avsa.org/Library/VintageViolets.pdf It's maintained by Barbara Elkin who was wonderful when I contacted her a few years back. She was the main reason I renewed my subscription at that time. She's only one person so the list is a good place to start. I see the list has grown a lot since. That's why I think when someone has a NOID, we should ask, "What does it look like and where did you get it?" before saying it can't be identified. I agree that they generally can't be identified but there's always an outside chance we might track down a missing one. (I see A. Fischer is the hybridizer of Ballet Lisa which probably explains why they carried them :D) Rhapsodie Elfriede is already on the list, I don't know the difference bet. the original Ontario and the newer one and I would wonder if that might be a lost cause.) I bought it a couple of years ago (this one is a pup in bloom) and yes, it had the label 'blue tango'. Someone at Selby Gardens now is telling me this is NOT correct. Knowing how nurseries sometimes receive plants mislabeled from their sources, I am not sure anymore and was hoping one of you could tell me what I have here :)

cmeonthewater, as gone2seed suggested, I checked the ABADS Brug Gallery and Family Tree. We don't have a brug named Mars Rose listed either. It does look a lot like 'Miss Anna' which we do have in the gallery. But, just because it looks like Miss Anna please do not rename your brug as Miss Anna. Just go with the name that the nursery had on it, even though the name could be wrong. And concerning your last question about if there was a registration process for brugmansia, please follow the link provided. It will take you to the main registry page for brugmansia.
