I started out doing something similar, but I ended up spending more time writing than planting...ugh! I now use software called Plant Tag N Track and my laser printer, print on waterproof sheets of pot sticks, hang tags, and even bench signs. It also keeps all the info I put in so it's ready for the next time I propagate plants. Cheap, too! $69 bucks. Oh, and the best part for me was the training VIDEOS...yep, no reading a freakin manual. Thank You Ladies! Linda, Our guild show is held every other year. I think your show must be a lot bigger than ours. Aprox. 600 attended last year. Our spaces 10X10 rent for $25.00 for 2 days. Since I'm new to the guild, I'm not sure why we don't have very many vendors, except we must be concidered a small show. I will do a google on other area shows to see if they have a vendor list, great idea! Wow Connie! Sounds as though we might be in the same boat. May I ask how many attended your show? The 2006 show had 8 vendors.You have some really great ideas. Depending on the number of vendors, I could probably provide box lunches each day. Chief salads, crackers, fruit, brownie and a beverage one day and Sandwiches, chips, cookie, fruit and bev. the other day. If the weather cools off, maybe soup one day. Hmmm... lots to think about. we just got an air tag for our dog from our DD for Christmas. 90% of the time, he stays in the fenced yard...bbbuuutttt every so often, something 'smells' sssooo good that he 'must' jump/squeeze through and t-r-a-c-k that S-M-E-L-L!!! and if there is a fox or deer in the yard, all bets are off and he is 'going for it', leap/squeeze, no matter he's going... so after a few long searches, she came up with the air tag for a safe return:) mind you, we did 'reinforce' the fence at multiple points but he has "springs' in his legs and a very determined nose... must be the flat coated retriever in him :)
