Hi Tisha, I think I am also too old for MySpace. I'm not sure they would let me in either, I just found out about my space a few weeks ago. I didn't know it existed until then. I looked around a little bit and made some observations. First, I would be very leery about letting my teenager participate. It looks like a good place for a young person to get in trouble. With that out of the way. It looks like a good place for adults to meet people and keep up with friends. My only advice to anyone who participates in MySpace is to be careful. There are lots of predators out there. I also have read in the last two weeks that people who are hiring and people in academics are searching MySpace to find their applicants. If the applicant's participation is too outrageous, they are being denied jobs and not being excepted to schools. Tisha and Ming, I'm reading this and starting to feel like I'm a mother hen. I'm not making any judgments here about the two of you. I have read enough of your entries to know that you are both responsible adults and are using this service wisely. I hope you have a lot of fun with it. If I were around 20 to 25 and/or maybe single I would consider using it. Please keep us posted. I'm really interested on how people think about MySpace. Larry

I guess I'm an opposite to most, if not all, of you folks. I actually feed my squirrels, putting out a dish of fresh sunflower seeds on my veranda every morning at 7am for a couple of squirrels which are not timid about coming close to the house. We also have a log home, but there's no attic or crawl space, just vaulted ceilings throughout. Even so, it is a double-walled structure and if one of the squirrels came in, it could mean trouble. I've adopted the thought that if I feed them outside, then they won't want to come in as there is no need. This policy has worked quite well for three years. Prior to that, they would try. Now, I did throw half a mouse in the compost last year that our cat, Jack, caught in the basement. I wasn't too please when he brought it up for us to see his prize catch. He plopped it on the bed as we were waking up in the morning... I always imagine he lounges on the recliners and watches TV when were out of the house - probably saw the Godfather the day before...

I'll try to explain it, but I am not good with giving instructions.. :) First log in then go to your pictures. Click on the picture that you want to make your profile picture. Under it, it should say EDIT PICTURE. Click that, and then when it pops up again there will be several options at the top of the picture. One will be "set as default" you will want to click that. It will ask you if you are sure that you want to set it as your default picture, just click ok and then you should be good to go. :)

Sorry about that, I didn't know you were looking for feedback. When I see a failure like that I prefer to demo everything and start anew. It does depend on the reason for failure though. For crappy work, I prefer to demo. If the leak is a result of some other fault, then I can see merit in making a partial repair. Your wall studs look okay once you get above the pan, so in your judgement if the walls are fine you can probably save them. The photo of the northern wall with the tile popped of shows what appear to be uncompressed thinset ridges. If the tiles popped off easily, that might be cause for concern. However, if I know going in that I'm going to try to save the wall tile, I'll try to avoid cutting the existing tile backer board right along the bottom edge of a course of wall tile. If the backer gets demo'd right to a grout line and new backer gets filled in to that spot, there will be a grout line right over a seam in the backer board. The grout on that line may be more prone to cracking. What a mess. Good luck with it!
