Low profile/low arch pull outs?
Comments (1)I really like mine, it is from Elkay, LKGT1041NK. The bottom piece has a 3 inch 'riser' installation is optional. I installed with so my picture shows it higher. Without it you would be below 8 " From GW Photos...See Morekitchen reno with low profile over the range microwave
Comments (13)@wdccruise Thanks! I went out to look at them in real life. I had considered the Samsung--I like the door latch and the controls. However I think I'm actually going to go with this Whirlpool one even though it has the controls on the inside, which seems crazy. https://www.appliancesconnection.com/whirlpool-wml55011hs.html The +30 second button is on the outside, which is what I use 95% of the time. The door is about 6" shorter--I didn't realize at first because it's shorter from both ends. And it's not quite as deep as others--an inch less than some others. All these things help with the face-whacking issue. As for the fan, this one does have 400 cfm, but I almost never use the fan. I should, as we have a gas range. But I rarely cook anything splattery and we're switching to induction, so won't have the indoor air pollution. And it doesn't vent outside. We were going to vent outside as part of the renovation, but since we really use it so rarely, husband (who was the one who wanted it to vent outside in the first place) decided he'd rather not put a hole in the house....See MoreLow-profile microwave OTR recommendation
Comments (2)>>>"need it to vent up to a hood above it "<<< Are looking for an OTR which can connect to existing vertical ducting or are you actually looking to fit an OTR under or into an existing hood? In the meantime, while waiting for responses on current low profile OTR models, you might try the "search Houzz" box on the top of the page and search on "low profile OTR." Seems to me that we've had three or four recent longish threads on the subject which might be helpful. If you've already done that, then never mind....See MoreNeed Help with Throw pillows on low profile sectional
Comments (46)That’s a good idea about wires but if moved opposite the long wall, the sectional will be too short and the corner would end up in the middle of the space. The speakers would also look odd in the hallway. I also don’t like to block the entrances to the living room. I think we may have to live with the current set up, add a seat along the long wall or remove the corner....See Morejb2c
