Comments (4)Thanks bunches Rosa. I am hoping later in the year to make more potholders as I have plenty of cotton flat batting (I think it was Warm and Natural cotton batting or something like that) and Insul-Bright (to reflect heat) left over from this last project, they probably won't be Christmas fabric though as I am trying to work as much as possible from my fabric stash this year and they'll probably a little scrappy too. I like your Folded Star pot holders they are really pretty, but at first glance they look complicated to make. Best to you, Sandra...See MoreBowl Holders
Comments (7)DH and I eat most of our meals in the family room, in front of the TV, with dogs and cats staring intently at us hoping for a taste. Not very sophisticated, but comfy! We use potholders, but I like your bowl holder idea and will give it a try. It would be nice to have something a little larger than a potholder. Do you use thinsulate or insul-bright or some other insulated batting or backing? Kate...See MoreMy son's 'tea cozy' for coffee pot (pic)
Comments (10)You are such a good Mommy~LOL~ Very, very nice. Did you sew a ring at the top? Perfect block and fabrics. It will be interesting what the comments are. Get ready for orders! I used to make ties for my father who worked at the Pentagon during the late 60's thru mid 70's. I used Hawaiian prints, Tie Dyes, silks, whatever I thought was pretty - wide ties were the style. He would sell my ties off his neck!!! He started carrying extra ties because he could not be without one in his suit. I got more orders then I could keep up with!...See MoreLooking for Quilted Potholder Pattern
Comments (10)What a very good idea Jayne! Thank you! I am going to try to make a few and attach a small cooking utensil to each. My son is an excellent cook and I always try to give them a gift card to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's for occasions ~ a potholder is perfect & will be easy to attach a small gift card pocket. Rosa - I still think your pot holder is the cutest I have ever seen!...See Moremaryliz
