Well 2 more blocks arrived: Redrosey_2008, your block is exquisite! It is a brilliant fuchsia and green. All of the small pieces remind me of a stained glass window. Froggy Quilter (by the way, I love your name!) sent a gorgeous bold block that looks like a variation of the friendship star. It has orange, yellow, green purple and blue in it. Thank you very much for all of the work that you put into these blocks. For those of you who I have not received blocks from yet, first, do not worry if you are running late. Second, IÂm going to be out of town for the better part of the next two weeks. My husband will be home (so your blocks will be safe), but I will not be able to post about them for quiet a while. I'm just going to respond to get this off the top of the list.

Here are the blocks that Kitty received. She took pictures from two different sides so you can see each end clearly. They are so pretty! Here are a few instructions if anyone wants to try Photobucket and posting pictures here. You will need to set up an account with Photobucket if you don't already have one. Go to http://photobucket.com. Upload your picture from your computer onto Photobucket. (If you don't know how to do that, ask me by e-mail.) As for the screen, you will see a blue box that says "Upload images and videos" once you click on it, you will be looking for the location of the photo that you want to post and just click on it. Photobucket will tell you when it is loaded. You then want to "return to album." You will see the picture that you just selected on the screen. I think you can hover over the picture and get this information - look for the HTML code and copy that. Paste it into the message that you are posting for GardenWeb. Of course, you can do a preview of the message before you post it so you can make sure it turned out right. If hovering doesn't work, put the curser on "Share Code Link" and it will list as one of the choices, the HTML link. Same as before, it needs to be copied and pasted into the message for GardenWeb. I hope this makes sense. I will be happy to try to help anyone more if you want. Jeanne

Judy, your block is on its way to you so I think it will make it there in time for your birthday without a problem. I am hoping yours, too, Kristene, but I only have one block started so far. Your blocks are at the top of my "to do" list now though. Ankie, thank you for saying that the templates for the cats did not measure right for you. I may not have thought to check and they didn't measure the right size so at least I found out before sewing them. I will likely try to draw mine also. Kristene, you will have to see what kind of artist I am! LOL Actually, someone in Calico Queens last year had a problem with the way the template for my block printed out for her last year, so I should have known to check right after I printed the cats.
