Toaster oven - it's nice not to heat up the kitchen to heat up leftover pizza, chicken nuggets, garlic bread, etc.

Mini-chopper - it has a whisk attachment and it's an immersion blender too but I mainly use the mini-chopper portion of it.

Kitchen Aid Hand Mixer - it works so well I never use the stand mixer I have (which isn't a Kitchen Aid).

Bread Machine - it's been on hiatus since I've been lazy and ordering out on Fridays for the past couple of months but for years I made pizza dough in my bread machine to make pizza every Friday.

Griddler - so much easier to clean than the George Foreman I had previously. I just stick the grill plates in the dish washer.

Foodsaver - I like to buy big packages of meat at Costco and break them down and it never gets freezer burn using my foodsaver.

I love, love, love my little Kitchenaid food processor and my bread machine (I never buy bread, and now I'm making a loaf for my neighbor who mows my lawn!), and my toaster oven.

I adore my Cuisinart mini food processor! It chops, grinds and is so easy to clean.

A mini chopper and electric skillets. I love electric skillets. I have several of them. I like the old ones that do not have the non stick coating.

Cuisinart Programmable Grind and Brew...most important because the sound of the grinder going off at 6:30AM is my alarm clock, and the coffee gets me started.

Farberware stick blender..it has a mini-chopper attachment. I use it almost daily.

Hand held battery can opener. One of those cheap "as seen on TV" things that is worth it's weight in gold.

I guess we use the electric teakettle my son gave us the most. DH used to turn the kettle on, walk away, and burn the kettle dry. The week we replaced 2 kettles was the last straw.

I have 2....my frozen daquari machine and my cusinait (sp) mini chopper too love and as said above it is sooo easy to clean got it at a garage sale for 5 dollars and it is red like all my new stuff I am getting for the kitchen.....Stacy my daquri machine is red too LOL

I have never cooked chicken from frozen...just thawed, and then cooked it in some broth with crushed garlic at 400 until it was likely well done. I fix pork loin the same way.

When fixing bacon, one can fix just a few slices, but while I am at it, I usually cook up 2 LBs to have on hand.
I then can fix an omelet either with bacon on the side, or chopped up in it, and top it with salsa. I add crumbled bacon to salads and top burgers with a couple of slices. It cooks it nice and crispy, if that is what you like, and all the grease drips off of it leaving very little on the paper towel when I take it up.

What I especially like about it too, is that you set the temp and the time, so you don't have to watch it like something cooked on top of the stove. It only comes with one rack, but I used the rack out of my pressure cooker when I fixed fries on the top rack and the burgers below them. It takes a little playing with to see how much time things take. It comes totally apart for ease of cleaning, and I often just clean just the rack between uses.

The top part rests on its side on a little bracket for convenience when loading or unloading it or checking things.

I bought the extender ring too just in case I want to fix something bigger like a turkey in it sometime.

Forgot to list my second favorite after the iced tea maker.

Stainless Steel Electric Skillet. I love this one so much I have a back-up stored away. It is listed as a 12 inch but its surface area is larger than most other 12"ers. It is flatter and shallower than others. I can easily do 3 pounds of ground beef without a mess. Plus it is NOT that awful non-stick stuff which is not allowed in my kitchen but for one pot I boil potatoes in.

Toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, can opener. And I don't even own a food processor. My MIL had one, but never used it. We found it packed away in the basement after she died.

My most fav would be my Roomba; love that thing. Couldn't live without my microwave and next fav would be the crockpot.

My coffee maker tops the list. I wish I could find one that would make more than the 14 "cup" I have. I have 3 people that drink coffee out of mine. (MIL has her own...yeah!) I need a bigger one.

Next would be my Kitchenaid mixer and probably DH's too. He loves the biscuits that I make with it. DS loves the goodies.

And I hear my Dyson vacuum is pretty nice. I asked for it for Christmas. And I have yet to use it. DS wanted it and uses it all the time (lucky me).

I wasn't going to replace my emmursion blender because I didn't think I used it THAT much. I went and bought one the other night.

I have a toaster oven that sits on the refrigerator in the laundry room. I have never used it. MIL bought us a 4 slice expensive toaster for some reason. I never eat toast. It has been used maybe 6 times in the 2 years we have had it.

I am pretty partial to my slow cooker. It makes great bbq beef for sandwiches.

Since you have an "s" on appliances I have to say I like and use all mine. Maybe not every day. I rarely use my deep fryer or ice cream maker, but they're handy when I want to. I should make more ice cream (like I need it) but it's fun to use. It doesn't use ice or salt so very little mess.

Monica Pa, is your can opener a "One Touch". I have one and I couldn't live without it. I'm already on my second one!! Got a toaster oven at our community rummage sale for $5. I'd never had one so I didn't want to spend much until I saw I'd use it--and I use it a lot. Use the crockpot at least once a week. Same for my Roomba (love that baby).

One thing I don't use that I thought I "had" to have is my stick blender/chopper. I should get it out from the back of the cabinet and use it more, I guess.

Phyllis, what brand of breadmaker do you have? I've been thinking I'd like to have one again. I had one years ago, but it was a cheapy brand and conked out. I'd like it just for the mixing and kneading, then bake in the oven.

I do use the microwave moderately. Would want to have one around. Definitely like the electric frypan. I like the deep one with the high dome lid. Would like to get a stainless one sometime but haven't found one I like.

I have a convection oven somewhat similar to Chemocurl's, but mine is old with just the electric element and fan. It's one that is a big glass dutch oven with the heater in the lid. Tater tots or other frozen taters in 16 min, pizza rolls in 6 min. I do meatloaf, bacon, and a lot of things in it. I usually do bigger pizzas than what would fit in it so I don't do them in there.

And of course the Nesco ovens. They're great.

I've had an ice tea maker sitting here for probably 10 years and haven't tried it yet. Maybe this year. Need to get some tea though. Suppose the stuff on the shelf is pretty bad by now. I really like iced tea but seldom have it. Used to use instant quite a bit but got tired of it.

I have a very old Osterizer blender that has one speed, Jet Engine. I love it. In the summer I use it to make frozen coffee drinks. I mix equal parts coffee and 2% milk, add a few ice cubes, some splenda and I get a frothy coffee shake.

I wish they still made brawny appliances like this. I take really good care of it, because I know I'd never be able to replace it.

Oh jumpin jimminy, how, especially TODAY and this past week could I forget 2 of the greatest appliances I have? The air conditioner and fan. I beg forgiveness from the appliance gods and I must add that the furnace rates right up there too!

OK, if we're going to open the field to vacuum cleaners, I do love my central vacuum -- wow, what power! It's so nice to have all the noise and dirt banished to the basement. Only have to empty the bag every couple of months.

Shoot, forgot about my Food Save until bunny lover mentioned it. It's the one thing I would not want to have to give up!

I use my VitaMix blender every day. I love my immersible blender, too but don't use it much now that the VitaMix sits on the counter.
My sis gave me a KitchenAide mixer she had never used and I love it, too.
My DS and DDIL gave me a fancy rice cooker when they moved back to Tokyo and it gets a lot of use. I told them since they were moving back to NYC they could have it back.....DS says I can keep it. Nice kid. But I will ask DDIL, too.

I have to say my microwave which is on one cabinet -across the aisle is my toaster - which I just got I took down the toaster oven, it too up too much room, my can opener and a mini food processer.I have a hand pump thing that sucks out all the air out of special bgs which I like a lot.

I only do a little real cooking in the wintertime. Sometimes I use the electric skillet for making lamb stew.
