'Babycakes'! This is the little one I keep occasionally so mom & dad can have a fun night out! She is such a good baby!!! Sleeps throughout the night without a peep! (We couldn't believe that she would keep her glasses ON!)

Down a back alley in Kobe, Japan.

There were very few women down this alley, mostly "Salary Men" (business men) who often stop there for a beer or meal on their way home.

My friend Marilyn and I ate at a little sushi bar there. What an experience that was.

In case you haven't seen enough pics of my cat, here's one more. It's blazing hot here, so I had to bring in my cage bird who usually lives outside. Daisy thought that was pretty interesting.

Ron...we used to rent tents like that one, which is a 20' x 20'. We also rent the chairs that you had. We now carry "peak top" or "festival top" tents. It is interesting when I see pictures of things that we rent. Thank you for showing the picture.

Socks, I had a pair of Ringed-neck Turtledoves for 13 years. Loved listening to them coo.

The baby birds were robins...I say "were" because something destroyed the nest the day after this picture was taken. The babies were nowhere to be found. The nest was in a crotch of a small tree...just up about 5 feet off the ground.

Jodi--Everytime the cat gets close, the bird starts to coo with that up and down motion. Doves live a long time; this one is at least 10.

I wonder how Daisy feels about a bird trying to impress her with the mating bow. LOL
