I had to go to work early this morning. It was one of those mornings with wispy fog here and there. There's an old corncrib along the road about a mile from our house.

Great pics! This is "osteospermum", funny name, but I like the flower, friend gave it to me.

The geraniums have gone nuts this year. It is totally neglected with no water and it just keeps going.

I have friends that lived/worked at a gold mine near Elko in the late 80's and early 90's.

The Rose-breasted Grosbeaks passed through on their way north and spent a few days......we didn't have quite as many this year as last and they were pretty skittish.....not a lot of great pix.....beautiful variety today everyone....thanks for letting me post a pic (or three)......

We hit the jackpot with the eggs this morning! The huge egg came from one of our ducks. The two smallest eggs are actually the same size as a chicken egg. I'm glad I didn't have to lay that whopper! lol We ate them for lunch and the large one was a double yolker. Yum!

Ron...no, I live about 400 miles from Elko in Las Vegas, but we were in Elko last weekend. Beautiful part of Nevada. It is nothing like the desert of Las Vegas. And I happen to love old abandoned buildings of any kind. We will be going again in a few weeks for an archery event.
