She's not a baby anymore

My baby is a little girl now. She's hilarous and witty and so happy all the time. She'll be 17 months old next week. I cannot believe it.

No, my mom didn't make her outfit. It came from one of my favorite stores - Gymboree! But mom did alter the pants. They were too long and I wanted them Capri length. She can alter anything!

Lavon...how many cats or how many raccoons? The most raccoons I have counted at one time was about 60, but I don't think there are that many now, although there is no telling how many come during the night. Like my husband said, there is no telling what comes down there at night to eat. Very seldom is there any food left over. As for how many cats...I don't know that either. Maybe 30. I feed a little more than 20 lb. of cat food a day, plus some of the cats eat with the raccoons too. People (who know hogs) are more surprised that the hogs don't bother my chickens than the raccoons not bothering the cats. They tell me that hogs love to eat chickens. But, everything here is fed so well...they really don't bother each other very much. Tonight Piggy Lee got after Coach (my old dog), and I had to chase her off of him, but I can see why she did it. He will not leave her alone. I feel sorry for him, but he is the dumbest dog I have ever had. Amos, the donkey, stomped him a few days ago, and at least he learned to stay out of that pasture but no matter how many times Piggy Lee gets after him, he won't leave her alone, and always picks the fights. Chisue, I don't know for sure what kind of dog Zelda is mixed up with. She is part dachshund for sure, and I thought maybe part Schnauzer of maybe even Scottie. I found her when she was about 5 months old, sitting by the highway about a mile from here. No houses around. I couldn't find her owner but I thought she might have belonged to our local hog hunter's girlfriend. They both went to prison for DWIs...about the time she showed up, but I have since found out she didn't belong to her. I thought she did because their hog dogs would often run after their truck when they went somewhere, and Zelda had a hunk bitten out of her back leg, like those dogs will do to other animals. I should have known she didn't belong to them. She was healthy, clean, and didn't have fleas. I have no idea how she ended up just sitting by the highway.

I just read this. The baby was due March 18 so it is very early. She weighed 1lb 6oz. The news said she is in the NICU for what will be an extended period of time. Her name is Josie Brooklyn

She'll always be "your" sweet baby! But yes, they grow up so fast! Olivia is 5 1/2 and Katie is 2. I still see them as babies! Then they talk back! lol

Love Camryn's fish outfit! Gymboree can be a wonderful/dangerous store!!

She is precious!

Enjoy picking out her clothes and dressing her. My dd became very opinionated around that time and started wanting to pick her own clothes and shoes. I've learned that as long as every piece of clothing has a flower on it, it matches because flowers are pretty. Lol!

Steph, she sure is still a baby. An adorable little sweetie. You have the cutest babies! I love her hair. Enjoy her while she is still a toddler (and I know you will). I just loved that age with my daughter. They can walk, talk and tell you where it hurts, but they're still sweet.

OMG...she is so, so CUTE...!!! Kinda - only kinda - makes me wish my youngest at age 38 - was still in diapers! Or, better yet, that my grandchildren weren't all at least 5 years older than she is...

Could use a pic of Grant as well.
