I love Bluestone. Over the last 6 years, I have ordered 60 to 80 plants from there each year. Boo Hoo, I have run out of room, so I haven't ordered anything this year. I just might put on my "poor me" act so DH will give in and prepare another posie bed for me. There are some new things in Bluestone's catalog that I have the 'hots' for.

Alisande..I am looking mostly at anything that has the 'M' for "prefers a moist soil" in the symbols describing it. I lost several plants this past winter to wet soil. My 2 newest beds stay pretty wet in late winter/earlyspring. I really need some Siberian Iris and that new Pink Haze is just the right color. The new Helenium 'Double Trouble' would look nice with my Chocolate eupatorium. I think I could find some space for the new Nepeta 'Sweet Dreams'. Then there is that Monarda 'Fireball'. And I should order Phlox 'Miss Lingard'. I love white flowers and she should do well in my wet areas. I must sit myself down and have a talk with myself. Right now, I am whipped...spent 3 hours cutting all the sedums back by half and I have no idea where the strength to get supper on the table is going to come from. Dh is always willing to help in the gardens, but this is my passion and I want to be able to do as much as I can.

Sounds lovely! Monarda is a favorite of mine. I have several varieties, but the only name I can remember is the one I planted two years ago: Raspberry Wine. I'd like to get some Nepeta. Folks on the Rose Forum talk about underplanting roses with it. I was thinking I might be able to start some from seed, but I'm not sure about that.

Anyone know anything about Firetail Chenille? I saw one last night and it was really pretty and different. Wondering how you can get one started,would a cutting take root?
