Birthday Swap List for 2009 as of 24th of September

This is the updated list as of September 24th.

If you think you've signed up and don't see your name on the list please e-mail me your information so I can get it on there. We sure don't want to leave anybody out!

Also if you requested to be put in two groups and I don't have that listed please let me know.

I'm trying to keep up with the lists as we go along so I'm not overwhelmed come Oct 31st.

The swap will be on Sunday, September 27, starting at 10:00 am (or so) at the south end of parking lot #3 (associated with shelters D, E, and F) at Black Hill Regional Park near Germantown, Maryland. Bathrooms are across the street at the visitors' center. There is an extremely nice playground nearby (not in sight of the parking lot), and there is an off-leash dog park a little further away. There should be at least some shade in the parking lot, and there are picnic tables and a grill, up a trail, that will definitely be shady.

LOL! Carol, don't worry about Stella. In this house (according to her) it's all about Stella! Those two cats are still rolling around in the catnip, and enjoying a bite of it too, from time to time. I've got a couple of stoners here! I tried to hide the package from them, but they found it while I was at work and "spread the love" all over the office while I was at work. I swept it back up, but they'll probably be into it again today. Who needs cable when I've got Bump and Stella for entertainment? ((chuckle)) And the birthday goes on! This is sooo cool! Yesterday I received 2 great cards in the mail, one from Sue/suecirish and one from Andrea/appaloosa909. They both had some great seeds in them. THANK YOU LADIES!!! After this month, I kind of pity the seed companies. I don't think I'll be making a seed order for next year. I'm getting plenty of seeds from my friends here on the GW! Lol!..... Well, maybe I could make a small order, right? What's a gardener to do? Have A Great Day Everyone! -Dan

I'm here, Mama Fran....I've just had another of those weekends. I tell ya what, I'm getting tired of 'em. I keep telling the kids that I'm gonna run off and join the circus, just so I can have a break. Sad, huh?? LOL I hate feeling down, and I know it's the hormones...but I guess with everything else going on, too, it's understandable. I was doing OK, just a few weepy moments this weekend, UNTIL my mother called this morning to inform me how FAT I am, and WHY HAVEN'T I HAD THAT BABY YET, DO I WANT TO KEEP GETTING FATTER?? Good Grief, like I'm holding the baby in or something. And like I'm supposed to have a healthy baby WITHOUT gaining weight?? Hello? And she needs to tell me this RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of all the other stressful stuff I'm dealing with??! *UGH!!!!!!* Calgon, take me away!!!! Any-hooooooo....... I'm not great with seeds either, Diene! LOL That's why I helped you out...I wanted to see someone else win that might be able to grow them better than I could. :O) Fran~ Don't worry about sending me a prize, I've already won a game. I didn't do the puzzle for the prize, I just had fun doing the scramble. Send Ms Diene the prize, I believe she had more correct answers than I did, anyway!! Everyone~ Thank you for the prayers. My family really needs them right now, and I appreciate it. You don't know how much. :O) Things are starting to look a bit brighter (as long as I don't answer the phone when mother calls)....just gotta get over this bump. I hope everyone has a great Sunday! I am a very NEW beginnering quilter but my friend Jeanne aka: sandlapper_rose let me know about this site.

I will get my info to you soon - I don't have any idea on what 'theme' to use for my choice of blocks but am going to go look at some now : )

For a beginning quilter I believe a Quilter's choice is a good way to go. You will get a variety of blocks that way and they can all be 12 1/2 inched so all you have to do is sew them together and you get a nice sampler quilt :-)

patti60, yes I received the info you sent me. I'm sorry I did respond to it. I will try to better communicate when I receive e-mails with info. I will try to reply directly to the sender so I don't have to post it here for ever one. Does that work?
