Yes I love her! I feel sorry for the others who have to go up against her too. She is so fast on the buzzer, you can see the others trying to ring in but she gets there first. She'll soon be second only to Ken!

I'm a faithful watcher too. She has such an appealing manner, which makes it fun to watch her win. I do feel a litle sorry for her opponents, though. I thought tonight's two might have a chance, but the guy couldn't get above half of her earnings.

Have been enjoying it also.....people like her, obviously very smart, must also have a photographic memory don't you think?

I think she is quick on the buzzer while the others have a bit of a learning curve, very knowledgeable, and she picks up the clues in the "answers" to help her with ones she is not sure of.

For a while I wondered if they were putting her up against weak players just to promote interest in the show, but she does seem to know a lot.

I haven't watched it yet tonight, another 20 mins. before it comes on, so for those of you who probably know, thanks for not spoiling!

If she wins on Wednesday, she'll tie for the second longest winner. And then there's Ken Jenkins. . . . .

I have watched Jeopardy for years even before Alex Trebec. I always wanted to be on there but I have a problem. I could never hit the buzzer fast enough. I took a test about 45 years ago at an employment office and they told me I would never be able to type faster no matter how hard I tried. My brain doesn't send the message to my fingers fast enough. I couldn't even type 35 words a minutes without mistakes. I had a cousin who could type 120 wpm

I don't feel sorry for anyone, since they all have the same chance. She's smart as a tack and I love seeing her do what she's obviously loving. Kind of like watching Ken Jennings. He's fun to watch. Seems so easy to them!

ben reminds me... when my son started watching it with me years ago, I'd answer before he could finish reading the question. He was first amazed, then frustrated. I'd say, it's about the speed, hon. Then, he caught up to me. Some nights, he knows more than I do and he's faster on the ones I do know, so in reality, he'd be winning if we were on teh show. I don't believe in taking it easy on anyone being challenging is more fun! He valued his win more that way I believe. Fair and square beats me.

I'm with you there bengardening. I tried for many years to increase my typing skills and it simply isn't going to happen.

I don't have much of a social life to begin with, and I find every day planned to be sure I'm home to watch Jeopardy. I've been watching since before Trebek also.

I'm not a fan of Julia's as something about her grates on me, so I am really cheering for one of the underdogs to win. Granted, she is really fast at ringing in; that's the whole key to her success.

I think that it's interesting to see how some individuals simply collapse, mentally, when they're up against a really successful player. You can see the look of defeat on their faces. Others lose with good humor and a tiny percentage are very poor losers.

I remember watching when Ken Jennings was defeated. The winner looked stunned, as I suppose anyone would be.

I do remember when Art Fleming was the host. Seems like that show has been on forever, but I enjoy it more all the time. Funny story -- my son's friend delivered pizza for a time. He said whenever he delivered to older people, they would have Jeopardy on the television.

We know never to call my mother between 7 and 7:30 because she is watching Jeopardy.

I agree with maxmom. Something about Julia bothers me, maybe it's just because she is shy but I do wish she had more of a personality. She IS smart and knows how to use the buzzer. It's fun to watch and see if she stretches her run or not.

I'm pretty good at Jeopardy, but I didn't get that answer. When I heard "seasonal," my thoughts went to Christmas, and I never got away from that. Could be something similar happened to Ken.

No, I don't think he threw it. Unless he had some very personal reason for doing so, that sort of thing doesn't happen on game shows anymore--not since the scandal of 50 or so years ago.

No, I can't imagine that he threw it. My first thought was "Santa Actors", but they did say white collar jobs. I also thought UPS,but again, that would not be white collar.

I am watching Jeopardy now and Julia is -- oops better not say since it may not have aired in the west yet.
