A 30" cabinet only fits a standard 25" single bowl sink. There are a few sinks that have come out recently that will work in a 30" cabinet, but they are all single bowl as well. The largest sink that you can have with a 30" cabinet is a 27" sink. You HAVE to leave room to attach the sink properly. Yes, some people crowd a too large sink in by cutting away the walls of the cabinet, and some of those don't even have problems with that. Some do, as their cabinets aren't robust enough to carve away their support and still handle a heavy sink full of heavy water for decades. And some people have damaged sinks and then find it's impossible to replace the sink if they've scooped the sides without either pulling the counter or completely destroying the sink base from the inside out and then reconstructing it. You don't have room for what you want. Settle for what's available. It will actually work better than what you want.

We just put in a 30" Sink Base - We bought a 30" Kraus KHU100-30 Sink. We thought we would have to cut the sides of the base cabinet down, but it slides just inside our cabinet - A perfect fit...no trimming

It is more than possible. It happens, and not infrequently, for contract productions of just about everything. In a country with little to no worker protection, consumer protection, or enforceable quality control standards,what someone says that they produce is not always what they are actually producing. It is not xenophobic or racist to urge major caution based on those numerous past instances of fraud, deceptive labeling, and downright unsafe to the end user products being produced. Yes, there are better quality import products, but those are usually produced in company owned and quality controlled plants. The bottom line is always going to be, if something is too good to be true, then it IS too good to be true. There is a hidden cost somewhere. That cost might be using recycled radioactive steel scrap for your stainless sink. Or high lead based glazing on pottery or sinks. Or a corrosive binder for gypsum board. Or a toxic paint. Or a formaldehyde content testing forged. Or thinner materials, or an incorrect alloy. All of that has happened. And how you can ensure that it does not happen to you is that you do not take the chance on a marketing created American, British, or German sounding named entity that contracts everything out to the lowest foreign bidder factory that can be found. If you are going to buy import, at least buy a real American company's products that have real warranties and quality control over their own factories in foreign lands. All of those Chinese companies should take a lesson from Haier. Bottom of the barrel quality Chinese government owned company does a virtual 180 by destroying poor quality produced goods, buys a major Aussie appliance manufacturer (Fisher and Paykell) and now has bought out GE. Those are foreign created products that pass independent quality control testing, and consumer real world use. Don't hide the fact that the products are import sourced. Be like Japan did after the war when it was the butt of all of the poor quality joke goods flooding the US market. They created modern factory quality control standards, and now have one of the highest reputations for quality in the world. Just because something is a Chinese import doesn't automatically make it bad. It does automatically make it suspect though. Especially at a too good to be true low price.

Your kitchen is beautiful! I love the mix of white and wood cabinets with the Hanstone quartz. Thank you so much for the photos! I used this quartz in my bathrooms and this is similar to what I’m planning to do with my kitchen next. I see you continued the quartz in the backsplash behind the stove. What did you use for the backsplash behind the sink and desk? Also, what have you found to work best for maintaining the quartz? I’m a little afraid of mine given the warnings they gave me about heat damaging it. I’ve also noticed that I need to wipe off water spots. Thank you!
