Looking for a website

Howdy ya'll. I pop in every now and then to look at what's new and get ideas for a future home.

I don't know if this'll help but, I'll try explaining the website in case anyone happens to know what I'm talking about: Primarily it seemed to be a website on various architectural themes and design ideas that one could do for their house (such as stairways, kitchens, living rooms, etc) rather than decoration. I think it had 'cottage' in its name but I can't be sure. The day I visited the site was 4/26 (taken from date the pictures I saved were created) so it wasn't too old, but not too very recent either. I know that's kind of a broad definition but I'm just hoping on the off chance that someone might go 'wonder if it's this one?' out of their favorites.

I've tried my history but it's been deleted since then (sucks because I know the date, and even the exact time (4 AM...)) and searching this forum isn't working (plus I'm not sure exactly what I would search for that wouldn't be too broad).

So anyways if anyone thinks they have the website I'm looking for (or just a good website you like in general) please post it. I'm looking for a specific picture that I didn't save but I know it's on that website.

On IE, my pull down retains web pages visited last...maybe if you haven't surfed much since then, it may still be there.

Maybe you can google some of the keywords you do remember??

Did you print anything from the site you're looking for? The name of the site will print on the page. When I just do a copy and paste from a site into WP, I always also copy and paste the url at the bottom of my page so I know later on where I got the info.

What was the picture of? Can you describe it? That might help jog someone's memory.

There have been some threads about cast iron on this forum. The link is to one such thread, with emphasis on how to season cast iron. Dan is the resident guru, and his advice about cast iron care is very good. Cast iron cookware has some great strengths and a few weaknesses. Pros: Â It has a tremendous heat capacity, so itÂs ideal for searing meat, blackening fish and so forth. Â ItÂs cheap, and except for rusting, itÂs nearly indestructible. Â Once seasoned, itÂs nearly nonstick. Â ItÂs not very responsive (i.e., the heat doesnÂt go in or out of it quickly) so itÂs ideal for slow cooking stuff at fairly steady temperatures. Cons: Â It will rust if water is left standing in it. Â It takes a while to season, and scouring can screw up the seasoning. Â ItÂs not very responsive, so itÂs unsuitable for things that need rapid changes of temperature such as sauces. Â ItÂs heavy. Â The surface can react with acidic foods such as tomato based sauces, so itÂs really not the best choice for such dishes. Try looking in your download files. Anything you have saved or downloaded from another website should be listed with the info. You might try an image search on google with the name of the pic you saved if you didn't change the name.

Have tried that. Will try looking in my 'temporary' image files though and see if it's still there.

As for what the picture was of, it was a staircase with like a slanted light illuminating it (a sunlight I guess). The design of the staircase is what I'm looking for (was a spiral type thing).

You might try right-clicking on the picture you saved, then clicking on "Properties". That may bring up the name of the website for you.
