Thank you. That is most helpful. I posted a week ago about paint recommendation for pickled cabinets in a kitchen - keeping the cabinets but wanting to change the wall color and didn't get much advice. Someone at the paint store recommended BAGUETTE and glad you chimed in b/c the LAST thing I need is a pink hue!
Well, I thought I'd be able to direct you to a pic of Smoky Topaz, but I guess the pictures have been taken down (a model home in my area....I suppose it sold and the new owners didn't want their home on display anymore). Anyway, when I first saw it, I thought it was some dark terra cotta, which I loved, and so I asked for the paint name. I went and got a sample and was surprised to see it was a brown. Looked so different from the dining room of the model home. The rest of the home had SW Blonde used pretty much throughout.
Anyway, I still liked Smoky Topaz, it was just too dark for where I wanted to use it (basement room). Remember, you can get sample quarts for $5.
