Comments (9)Have you considered the window film to protect from sun and heat? I would have it done professionally. I had the back of my home done to protect furnishings and hardwood floors from afternoon sun. There are pros and cons with this for me the pros outweighed the cons. Research the benefits. Comments (7)Thanks for the Ikea reminder. I forget how much cheaper their rods are. Since I'd have sheers on the rod, would I stick with the same height of curtains that I have on there now? I've seen lot of examples with drapes hung near the ceiling, but I don't know if that's appropriate with sheers, too....See MoreMotorized blind for trapezoid BR window.
