Its an incandescent right? If so, then you probably made a mistake. I did that exact thing and ended up returning it as it does absolutely nothing to benefit the growth of your plants. It may say its a grow bulb, but if its incandescent, all it does is give off heat.

Here is what I do: My daughter has repeatedly spilled dark mascara on our Dupont Sorona carpet. I just about freaked when she first did this. But, I use Mohawk's Floorcare Essentials spot remover for carpet. I spray enough of it on the carpet to make it damp, gently work the area with my fingers, taking care to never aggressivly (not sure I spelled that right) rub the area, and then blot with paper towels. Any liquid, including the spill should be pulled into the paper towel. This has worked great. I had to repeat this process on the mascara, but it eventually came out and everything is fine. Many spills can be removed just with water. If your color printer is like mine, the ink is water based, so water should dilute the ink. You may have to make a second or more attempts to remove the ink, but it should come out and you shouldn't have any ring to worry about. As Phila 2009 said, blot and I would add keep blotting. I know! It was so magical how everything just melted right off. But if the paint melted off too that would be horrifying. The wall is very light coloured so I think I would notice if there was any colour transfer. But I will probably just stick with my usual vinegar and water and drop of dishsoap, plus elbow grease. Unless someone comes in and says "This is all I've used for years, no problem!" LOL
