RECIPE: Recipe: LaMadeleine's Tomato Basil Soup

1 14 1/2 oz can petite cut tomatoes

6 - 8 fresh basil leaves

1 cup chicken broth

4 oz can tomato sauce

6 oz. heavy cream

1/2 stick butter

Puree tomatoes and basil leaves in a blender. Bring to boil, the chicken broth, pureed tomatoes(with the basil leaves),and tomato sauce. Gradually add the heavy cream and butter. Heat till soup thickens a bit. Enjoy!
