Bad Feelings Associated to Wall Mount Faucets

In cases where they had an old wall mount faucet to wash dishes with,

when renovating,

most people replace their old wallmount with a DECKmount.

Why? I'll venture guesses.

They probably didn't like the ...

1.) big old sink

and had associated bad feelings about everything to do with it.

2.) long reach to the back wall

and had associated bad feelings about wall mounts because of it.

3.) two on-off valves

and had associated bad feelings about wall mounts because of it.

- and a single handle mixer valve is only available in a deckmount

---- exceptions exist.

4.) single arm spout

and had associated bad feelings about wall mounts because of it.

- it gets in the way of your visual field, too close intimate and dangerous

- it doesn't add much functionality (compared to a double-arm spout)

5.) two-arm articulating spout

and had associated bad feelings about wall mounts because of it.

- it really gets into your intimate space, close and feeling dangerous

- although it IS able to reach over to pots on the counter, but...

- it's not able to get down close to help in washing veggies or the sink walls

- so ultimately it cannot get close and intimate to the objects you wash

The K ohler Karbon wallmount solves objections # 1, 3, 4, and 5.

It has 4 or 5 joints and they allow it to move down easily

(getting out of proximity to your eyes, and getting down close to the parsley)

The big objection not yet overcome is the handle on the wall

Is this right?

Confirm or refine as you wish.
